I'll hit that FE ripoff when it drops in price. I hate how menu backgrounds look on most IOS RPG games. So cheap. Is it that hard to make them translucent or with a very faint smattering of color?

I've been playing that Roller Coaster building sim (Coaster Crazy) for a few days now. It's actually a very good game despite some shitty freemium trappings and a little too much hand-holding early on.

There's something strangely satisfying about designing a coaster that makes everyone barf and watching them spew massive amounts of green vomit while doing loops.

Jet Set Radio was put up yesterday. $5...good port visually, but the controls can be...difficult to work with. Didn't stop me from speeding through the tutorial stages and the first level, but I had some trouble turning and tagging. May need to adjust the sensitivity. Despite that, this seems to be just as awesome a port as Crazy Taxi.

Download "appshopper" and start adding games. It will keep track of when and how often a game drops in price, and will tell you when something is dropped.

There will be a bunch of sales for the holidays if you can wait until Christmas / New Years.

new star soccer is insanely addictive - I have finally stopped playing but have around 1450 games played, 1420 goals scored, 123 hat tricks , 500 star man (international + regular seasons combined)

I'm pretty addicted to puzzle and dragons now too. The match 3 is pretty good once you lern how to move shit around and make combos. Evolving my little bastards now so I can handle those special dungeons.

Wish I would have saved my stones early on. also need to make a dual attack team. Having a balanced team seems to suck ass.

The only Starbucks I've ever seen the codes at is at a Safeway up on Kent's East Hill near one of the schools I work at. Every other one has tons of cards for some stupid Rod Stewart Xmas song.

I'll go back tomorrow and get more. I find myself there pretty much every day getting an Americano after people at work ended up giving me $75 in Starbucks cards for School Psychologist Appreciation Week.

Some interesting games released yesterday. Mighty Wardens kind of looks like Battleheart meets Castle Crashers.

Into the Dead looks nice, but shallow as hell.

Vice City kinda runs like a turd on my iPhone 4 (they turn off a buncha effects + the framerate is crappy) but still serviceable. The controls are... alright too. Not gonna beat analog but I think they made the game a little easier to compensate for that.

Runs swell on my iPad 3 tho, 60fps, high-res and a buncha shaders switched on.

Definitely worth it if you have fond memories of just cruising along, making a mess while listening to the awesome OST
