Not those ones, the huge controllers that attach to the sides.  Has that been canned?

Because it would allow console style games on the ipad.  It also looks great to me.

how does the controller i linked before not allow console-style controls on the ipad?  it's a friggin tiny ps2 controller.

It does but that one isnt practical.  I mean for a phone its good.  But for the ipad it is just going to be uncomfortable at best at worst it will break after a few uses.

Do you think they will add compatibility with Sony's or Microsoft's controllers? I would be fine with buying an adapter but I prefer to not use shitty miniaturized gamepads.

That was my suspicion. Most third-party controllers are crap. Even the pricier models from Razer and Logitech don't hold up well.

:what

how is it any different between a phone and a tablet?  it's a stand-alone bluetooth controller.  and while it feels kind of cheap, i use mine pretty regularly and i've had no problems with it breaking, so unless you're one of those tards that smashes your controller against the wall when you lose or something, i think you'll be okay.

Oh i thought those controllers attach to the phone or tablet.  If it doesnt, it isnt something i would use.  Id rather the controller attach to the ipad itself.  There are versions of those controllers like you posted that attach to the phone hence why i got confused.

I got Stand O' Food and DELICIOUS - Emily's Taste of Fame for free, which one is a must play first?!?

I beat the Stand O' Food tutorial, you make sandwiches and can install a coffee machine to move faster. More than one kind of sandwich too. With different toppings.

Also...Number Link Pro makes me feel dumb. Dumber.

Is this what happens if you get into this more, you have "real" games like Dead Space and Anomaly and blah blah or whatever but you're playing this stuff and occasionally Kingdom Rush.

At least I beat Game of Words, and then it told me I gotta pay 99 cents a pop for each next set of levels so much for that original deal being the FULL GAME.

What is The Simpsons: Tapped Out?

The Simpsons tapped out is one of those crappy games where you do shit to get things to level things up and then you make a building and it'll take x amount of time to complete and you just collect a bunch of inane bullshit as some person who doesn't design games - but totally designed this one - laughs all the way to the bank as your curse under your breath that you downloaded a total shit game because it had the Simpsons in the name and far away, a long time ago you fucking loved The Simpsons.

It isn't sim city. Sim city requires planning and strategy. Simpsons Tapped Out and other games like it is just tapping shit. There is no strategic goal to making the buildings. You aren't building more lanes because your Sims are getting late to work because your zoning is dog shit. You just tap shit to get more shit.

no you just need to have the file and install it on a file manager at least if you are on android (in fact the game won't run if you have a rooted device)

if you are on an idevice the game should be avaiable everywhere including europe so i'm assuming you are on android

http://storage.evozi.com/apk/dl/13/12/24/jp.gungho.padEN.apk?h=-K8s0Ljp_9LgbFLpTu6SpQ&t=1399845092

1. click that
2. put file on phone
3. install it with a file manager
4. that's all

Speaking of PAD clones, I tried Pac-Man Monsters. I really like the art on the pac men and ghosts but unfortunately the rest of the monsters look like they could have come out of any of these puzzling games.

I'd rather play Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures

Played that Sega Coin game for awhile over the weekend. Very confusing at first (although I thought the tutorial quiz was a nice touch), but once you get to the second set missions, it all becomes instantly familiar.

After playing PAD for 100's of hours, it's hard not to feel some de ja vu with these games when you follow such a similar trek.

you know i've seen and tried many PAD clone but this one is the first i'm sticking with... first because the whole medal game setting makes it pretty novel and it's fun when you make the whole screen explode with coins, and second because i find the art serious amazing

the annoying part is that finding info on it, it's pretty hard... there is a wiki (which is from where i got all that artwork) but it doesn't even list all of the in-game monsters

:drudge The House of the Dead: Overkill - The Lost Reels is FUCKING LEGIT :drudge

I know I'm a year late to this party but goddamn, this is amazingly fun. Somehow manages to be both faithful to what was a rail shooter but at the same time being fantastically touch-optimized.

Only bad parts are: no funny cutscenes or voice acting, instead there's just stilted comic panels. Also only three areas (split up into various "levels" of about 5 minutes each.)

Still, really fucking fun. Graphics are even better and less janky than the Wii version, too :dead

allright this is all i have about dragon coins so far...

- the monster in this game are divided in common, uncommon, rare and super rare's... common have a level cap of 20, uncommon of level 30, rare of 40 and super rare of 60... a monster can evolve once he reach level 20 AND if you have another copy of that monster barring special case (which make rolling dupe in this game amazing)

- when you evolve a monster they gain a +,their stat increase overall, their artwork become 100% cooler (all of the artwork above are SR+ monster) and their level cap increase by 5 (so an SR+ monster caps at level 65) they also gain a leader skills which most of the time boils down to increased damage or hp of specific races of monster

- the monster have skills, the skills have level and you skill them up by feeding monster with the same skills exactly like pad, unlike pad most skill only last for 10 real-time seconds and skilling them up increase that time counter, skills get triggered when special skill box falls into the monster hole so depending on the number of skill box on the field you can fire away like crazy

- the game is weird in it's relationship with the cheapass like me, on one hand it's stingy with it's free currency and on the other there are tons of way to get SR monsters like...

1) pulling the game equivalent of the pal machine which for some reason has SR in it (i even got one!)
2) giving player free REM coupons that can only be used to pull from the REM
3) dragons in this game are special monster in that they are the only one that can evolve to the next rarity so if you evolve an U dragon he will get to U+ and you can then evolve the U+ to R but unlike normal monsters they need multiple dragons to evolve, there is a special dragon dungeon whose drops change every day similiar to how PAD handle's evo material dungeons
4) everytime you clear a stage there is a chance to trigger an urgent stage, this is a single boss fight that get stronger the more time you beat him but everytime you beat him you gain a special gacha currency, rolling this gacha has a chance of giving you piece's of the boss to assemble, so far i've gathered 3 left hands,2 right hand,1 left foot and 4 right foot and i'm only missing that dumb stupid heart... if you fail to defeat the boss another player in your friend list can swoop in and kill it for you and you still gets part of the reward as if you killed it

so far i didn't have trouble progressing, the whole game basicaly boils down to risk vs reward, basicaly there are lot of coins on the screen and then the coins get pushed by a machine into holes representing the monster but since the distance between the machine and the holes is big you need LOT of coins on the field to cover the gap, so you drop more coins by tapping on the screen but each time you add a coin a turn counter on the monster decrease and of course when it gets to 0 the monsters attack you...

but you see, when you hit a monster that monster drops coins too (including green coins that heal you) and the more coins drop all at once, the more damage you deal so it's in your best interess to keep the pressure  at best as possible, in fact i'm a big fan of healing skills in this game cause they let you keep attacking without worry

some of the skills are pretty banal like "increase attack", "heal X" but there are a lot that deal with the unique setup, there is a skill that reduce the distance between the hole and the machine for example, there is one that make the machine move faster, the machine has holes on the sides where everything that falls in there get lost (that also include monster drops which appear in the form of capsule's and get mixed with the coins) so there is a skill to raise a wall so coins don't fall down, there are one that makes pile of coins appear in specific position in case you want to focus on a particular monster

but anyway i'm really puzzled by the lack of info on this game because it looks and feels like a pretty solid PAD alternative... i know some other games that are sort of like pad like dragon poker (which is PAD + poker) or the before mentioned chain chronicle but i had no idea this game existed at all...

Thanks for the write up magus. It is an oddly compelling game, but doesnt have its hooks in me like PAD did.

In the short time I have played, I enjoyed using ogres. They throw walls up. So I have one that throws up on the left and the other that throws up on the right. Then I speed push+Combo damage for maximum carnage against the end stage bosses. It's worked well so far and it was interesting to find some strategy in team building.

you know i have to reiterate once again my appreciation for dragon coins and ask once again why this game is not more popular...

after you beat the first 3 dungeons, starting from the 4th chapter the enemies start using skill, and i've seen stuff like

- enemies that gets stronger the harder you hit them forcing you to kill them in 1 turn
- enemies that resurrect other enemies
- enemies that drop bombs on the field that inflict you with negative status effect and that you have to purposely drop instead of picking up, if you drop the bombs the enemies itself get hitten with the status effect and watching a mob punching itself under confusion made me think long and hard about how i'd wish more effect existed in PAD
- enemies that change the element of your team
- enemies that heal themself if you don't kill them in time
- mostly amusing i found a jerk who change his element depending on your team, my team was made mostly of wood monsters and *BAM* the asshole become fire! i was like :whoo

at the end of chapter 3, you fight a giant demon that clearly screams "I'M BIGGER AND BADDER THAT THE OTHER GUY YOU FOUGHT SO FAR" and the guy had his own music! like a proper game!

Game was great, wish they would make more like this. Some virtua cop collection :0

Serious. Virtua Cop was always the better franchise IMO.
