A copy of BRUTAL LEGEND, for the real mans games console, the XBEAST 360! Got so much to play this summer now (Southern Hemisphere $:-\$ )! Im definitely keen to check it out, love me some sandbox action! And I liked Full Throttle.

You can thank Play-fucking-Asia.com for the mystery; I ordered it with plenty of time to spare, and the bastards sat on it.

I hope you enjoy Brütal Legend as much as I did. It's not as perfect as other Schafer games, but the sandbox world is FUCKING EPIC and beautiful, and the gameplay is underrated because Schafer/EA marketing were unwilling to call it an RTS.

Im into sandbox as much as you I believe so looking forward to getting my teeth into this. (gotta 1000 AssCrud2 first but Im almost there). The soundtrack looks awesome, Stigmata by Ministry

What are the cheevs like in Brutal Legend? Are there 20+ hours of side quests? And can you start on the hardest difficulty from the get-go?

Sweet we gotta crank some multi at some point. Everything in my world will calm down after this week (moving house, ugh) so I'll have a lot more time for gaming and stuff as I'll have a dedicated personal gaming space at my new house.

Play Asia dont normally take that long to get here, when I order from them its generally takes a week to get to New Zealand, tops. Maybe its the time of year?

I thought Hey, Sceneman's up early, and then remembered that you're 3 hours ahead of me.

Play-Asia has always been a 6 or 7 day delivery from purchase, except my recent order of Rock Band 2 which took 4 weeks. I'm no longer entirely enchanted with them.

Achievements are not hard to pop, top difficulty level is available from first playthrough, but the side quests are sadly nothing special.

As a matter of fact I did get it today. It was on the table when I got home today. Not knowing if what is inside is Kid safe I'm waiting for later. My kids saw the package and have been begging to open it. Even moved it to their project table keep it safe. I promise to take pictures and post them, just likely not tonight. Late dinner and the kids bugging me to watch Sleeping Beauty.

That and I'm like crack addicted to Demon's Souls.

Let's see, what do we have here?

Sweet, four packages, and they're all nice and wrapped (exactly like mine weren't, because I forgot

). Lots of paper to tear. I love tearing wrapping paper!

And the reveal....

It's a Scrabble themed giftset! Scrabble sticky notes, a Scrabble magnetic notepad, Scrabble cards and envelopes, Scrabble cups, Scrabble popcorn holders, and Scrabble popcorn. Also, Lady in the Water and Transformers on DVD, an Ouija keychain, and a 3D puzzleball Christmas ornament.

It's a little known fact that Scrabble is probably my second favorite boardgame (behind Will Federman's Candyland), but I like to think that it was my brilliant wordsmanshippery that indicated that I was a Scrabble fan, and that it's not a subtle hint that my vocabulary could use some help.
