It that doesn't include Steam figures, then the likelihood is the vast majority of that are Xbox 360 sales. PC gamers are a small niche, and the number that buy actual physical copies for a Valve release is even smaller.

Sales of L4D2 on the Xbox360 were approximately 700,000, so that means that the PC version sold at least 1.3 million.

oh shit it is free on PC? I was just thinking about how I'm getting into the game again and would have probably bought it.

if anyone wants to do a dark carnival run to save the gnome, let's play a game one time. I played with random people the other day trying to save the gnome and it was a blast. Me and another guy were on gnome patrol while the other two didn't give a shit. We ended up dying at the end because me and him kept looking for the gnome at the stage show, and in usual L4D fashion, everyone left the game after that.

Couple of my friends have already been playing, so when I got on to download it I asked them a little about it. They said that it's pretty solid so far, they're really enjoying it. Like everyone thought,

Bill was the one to bite it. Though, towards the end of the level I think she said, you can actually find Bill's body in a shack and pay your respects.
