... In all seriousness, I was dating a 30-year-old last year (as a 25-year-old) and it was kind of tough. She was really thinking about starting a family and setting roots (although, as I was told "sometime down the line"), and I was in the Caribbean, plane hopping to Los Angeles, taking a train to New York, etc.

The two women I'm interested in now are within my age range, although one is a little younger. I called it off with the "choking" chick, though.

Last week (persian new year), my family was over at somebody's house and a 17 yo girl's dad was asking me a lot of specific questions about what kind of degree and job and all that I was going towards and when I'm planning to get married. So, basically obvious implications that he's shopping around and I just tried as hard as I could to bullshit him with really vague answers because 17 yo girl's are still girls.

Would you prefer to have it like that?

My boy and the other boys I've been around have been great with other dogs, including other breeds. I had my girl first, and she was a puppy mill rescue, so she's weird about other dogs and people. Some she loves and some she wants to destroy. Never been around too many other female shibas. She's in love with our male though. She wants to mother (and therefore protect) what she perceives to be her family. I'd guarantee 90% of her issues with some people/animals is from her puppyhood. /puppyschologist
