I do it all the time but it can cause permanent damage. Most of contacts restrict the flow of oxygen to the cornea, so leaving them in for too long can lead to hypoxia. At first it'll just be some superficial lesions (which I've had in the past) that will heal if you give your eyes some rest, but eventually you might permanently impair your vision.

Too much of a pussy (and a poor) for LASIK, though

Well, Lasik as we know it has been around for about 20 years. There could be longer term damage but 10-20 years seems to be fine for many.

Anyway, the first week of my job was fantastic plus I got some of dat overtime

I'll be posting a lot less often due to doin' thangs

Not to mention that my old workout partner lives in the same town as I do and we intend to really start hitting the iron. Also getting paper work prepared for my second degree as well as chilling with friends.

A coworker just had lasik surgery this week. Went all Hollywood and wore sunglasses at work Thursday and Friday.

As for me, I'm not into the whole "stare at a laser as it burns your eyeball" thing. I'll stick with contacts.

And, yeah, I sleep in them everynight and never take them out and wear them for much longer than I should. I once wore a single pair for a year (although I did take them out from time to time).

I'm sure it's a little different if you're really, really, extremely good-looking, but in my experience, there's always one or two girls in the group who are either fat or PMSing who really don't want any of their friends to get laid that night. If one of the girls gets really drunk, you can bet that the fat/PMSing friends are going to be keeping a close eye on her to prevent her from making any "bad decisions."

If the entire group gets wasted, then you're in, but it can be a challenge getting to that point, especially if you find yourself having to buy drinks for the fat friends. Having a good wingman who will take one for the team is crucial.

Another Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.

After that I plan to get my MBA and if I'm not totally fatigued with the whole school thang, a MS in EE.

The company is paying for it so I might as well take advantage of it.
