writing them is like 80% of the learning process-- that's when it all gets cemented in my brain. then I bring them everywhere with me and bust them out whenever I have a minute.

That worked well for contracts and torts (which I have tomorrow), but I think property is going to require a different approach. It's completely open-book (assigned text), open-note, and it's the subject I know jack shit about, so I'm gonna have to seriously cram and make a nicely searchable package for it. I have 4 days for it, so I'm not too worried.

They're at the back of my neck on the left side, halfway between my ears and the centre of the back of my neck.
Around the height of my earlobe.

They hurt a little, so I hope it's just something inflamed, but the fact that I noticed a second on today kind of freaked me out.

If there's a reason they don't deserve praise, ignoring Paul Banks fucking HORRIBLE lyrics for a moment, it's because they're wholly derivative. Almost offensively so -- they're about on the same level as Jet as far as originality is concerned. Even so, "Turn on the Bright Lights" would've been touted as a classic even in the 80's heyday of post-punk. It's a great album (again, if you can ignore the lyrics).

And yes, I realize the irony of this post after just saying there's nothing wrong with Vampire Weekend.

So yeah, kinda cool seeing him get STEAM and enter the world of PC gaming, but I hope this isn't the start of an addiction that leaves him single.

It's probably better than banging some barmaid on the rebound. Well, safer. Not better.

Let him do his thing and escape for a bit. That's what any rebound is about.
