Bringing this back from the dead again to update some of my recent purchases in order of when I got them.
Sorry, all I have are stock photos because my camera cable is FUBAR'd at the moment, when I get that fixed I'll have some range pics to put up.

Hi-Point Model C9 - 9mm
I was just in the mood to pick up something cheap and this DEFINITELY fits the bill there. It put me back only $150, and it kind of shows it. I'm not a huge fan, but it does seem like a straight shooter. It's good if you're looking for something on the cheap, but I don't think I would ever carry it, or want to have it anywhere other than the range. It's too bulky and top heavy, and after firing it for a while, I've noticed it has started to jam some. The rounds sit in the mag kind of off sometimes, and will get turned before being chambered... no thank you.
All in all, for the price, I've gotta give it a 3.5/5. I mean, it's solid, but not something I take every time I go to the range.

Sig Sauer Blackwater 1911 - .45 ACP
From the second I saw this gun online, I absolutely fell in love. And that didn't change a single bit once I got it. It has one of the smoothest actions I've ever seen on a handgun, with the perfect amount of tension when you're pulling back the slide to know that it's really a solid gun. After three boxes of rounds, I have yet to jam this gun, and I'm using cheap ammo. It's not a bit picky at all. I haven't put any hollow point rounds through it to test how they chamber, but I don't foresee any issues. This thing is like a dream come true. Came with the Sig night sights too, which give a nice glow in low light situations. I plan on getting a STL 900L at some point to seat on the picaninny rail, but that'll have to wait.
This one gets a 6/5 from me, because it's quite possibly the most beautiful gun I've ever shot.

Sig Sauer P6 - 9mm
I saw this at the local shop used, and liked it quite a bit once I picked it up and handled it a little. It's a nice small gun, perfect for conceal and carry. I was looking for something along those lines anyway, so I thought it a good purchase. It was a German police trade in, and my local shop purchased it from a distributor. It came with a lefty police-style holster which I have absolutely no use for since I'm right handed, but I figure maybe it'll be a good trading chip later on. When I took it out to the range, it shot pretty well. It's just like my Mosquito (which I absolutely loved, and would have carried if it weren't so picky on ammo). They're almost the same size and weight even, which is great considering this is a 9mm and the Mosquito was a .22lr.
I give this one a 4/5. It's perfect for carry, and I'm pretty sure it's what I'll take my CCW test with.
Those are my new guns, and the last ones I get for a while. I've completely blown my budget out of the water...

However... I will still get accessories...
Right now, I'm looking at a Minotaur MTAC Holster for the Sig P6. I've been wanting an IWB holster for a while now, and these look pretty solid.

Anyone have experiences with IWB holsters, or does anyone else currently carry? If so, what method do you use?
