Killer 7 is crap faux-otaku bait for Americans who want to be Japanese.  Get over it.

Yes.  Both games are garbage.  Suda 51, LOL.  You guys just like the Killer 7 soundtrack and Bebpo likes NHM's wacky characters and story.  Nobody is talking about these like they're games.  I guess the best way to experience both would be to watch the cut scenes on Youtube.

Killer 7 isn't a game.  It's a fairly experimental product that doesn't have many peers in gaming.  NMH has crap gameplay, story, sidemissions, characters, etc. and is definitely for chubby Americans with loli pillows whose goal in life is to be an English teacher in Japan.

You guys are a crazy bunch of Suda fans.  I don't understand how someone who digs Suda's style and what he tries to do can like 1 game and not like the other.

I like all his games.  Killer 7, NMH, Samurai Champloo, even Blood+ was decent.  I couldn't get into Flower, Sun Rain on the DS (probably cause my used cartridge smelled like cigarettes [maybe intentional?]) but I wouldn't write it off either; I know people who loved it on PS2.

Suda uses the game medium as an art form and also he doesn't seem to give a fuck about the video"game" part, since they all play pretty shitty  :lol  He's pushing the medium the way very few designers do.  Though his games play like simple series 2000 titles, I'd put him up there with Kojima and Ueda because he tries to make a videogame more than just a game.

His composer is also fuck awesome.

Tenchu 4 plays so much better on the PSP.  It's easily the definitive version of the game.

I know, I own it on the Wii and PSP.  The only thing the Wii version has over the PSP one is that the water is transparent.

No More Heroes + 360 = Love.

Anyone played Flower, Sun and Rain? Worth £8 off Amazon? I'm not one of those people that minds when games don't have much actual gameplay in them, which I'm guessing is the basis for the shit reviews.

i tried flower sun and rain for the ds,basicaly each day someone has lost something and it's your job to wander around to find it which basicaly involve wandering around and talking to people and occasionaly solving a puzzle where you have to guess a numeric password (at the start of the game you are given a guide to the island and most of the time it's where you find your answer, for example a barman asks you to make a drink so you search up that drink in your guide and then input the quantity of ingredient used as a password) the game also gives you optional objective with an item hunt sidequest,of course when you find the item you need to solve YET another puzzle where you have to guess another numeric password

so basicaly in the end it kinda plays like professor layton, only the story makes no sense, you always solve the same kind of puzzle, there are no charming 2D illustration around and it's so damn sloooooooooow and boring

at least it features a very kick ass remix of rhapsody in blue

Only thirteen games so far have received perfect scores. They are listed in chronological order:

   1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998, Nintendo, for Nintendo 64)
   2. Soulcalibur (1999, Namco, for Dreamcast)
   3. Vagrant Story (2000, Square Co., Ltd., for PlayStation)
   4. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (2003, Nintendo, for Nintendo GameCube)
   5. Nintendogs (2005, Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)
   6. Final Fantasy XII (2006, Square Enix, for PlayStation 2)
   7. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008, Nintendo, for Wii)
   8. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (2008, Konami, for PlayStation 3)

  12. Bayonetta (2009, Sega, for Xbox 360)
  13. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (2009, Nintendo, for Wii)

We went from maybe one 40/40 title every couple years to three in 2008 and so far four in 2009...  ;)

I still cannot believe that Nintendo Dogs and 428 (a digital novel) got 40/40 from Famitsu.  Also that the first game to ever get 40/40 was a title released in 1998.

I know. Famitsu has been around since 1986. They went TWELVE YEARS before giving out their first 40/40. And then, in a span of two years, they've given out SEVEN 40/40 scores. SEVEN!
