I met a friend yesterday who I haven't seen for ages and she had swine flu a couple of months ago. Apparently pretty bad, she was out of it and delirious for two weeks. All this because her dumbass doctor didn't diagnose it and thought it was just a cold.

The aftermath is she now has some form of mild chronic fatigue syndrome but doctors believe it will only last for six months. Apparently this is partially because she got quite severe glandular fever years ago which has exacerbated the problem. Crazy shit.

There are many different strains of swine flu, right? Because I got it a few weeks ago (lab tests confirmed it) and the symptoms persisted for nearly a week but it was only rough for the first day or so. Doesn't sound like what you have at all
