99% of women comedians have the same shtick; same situation with asian-american comedians. Maybe try something different than acting like a tomboy, talking bout sex as if you're indifferent towards it, and highlighting how men are different than women. The potential is there.

Speak for yourself, I'm writing Candy Land: The Motion Picture (soundtrack by Nickelback!).

In all honesty, good for Whitta. He sold a spec script, got some big names attached - and from all accounts - enjoyed the experience. He's an established writer now, and that's an admirable feat.

That said, I have absolutely no interest in seeing the film and it looks like a pretty forgettable action flick. If it was really as great as every Internet groupie would suggest, it would not have been dumped in January. But 'dems the breaks!

I've no opinion of Whitta or his movie, as I don't know the former and haven't seen the latter. But that thread will be barren of any negative gaf reviews either by banning or groupthink. I should punch myself for stating the obvious.
