I almost drowned on a camp trip with the Cub Scouts. We went to this lake and me and a friend got in, only to find the lake being made of nothing but mud. We couldn't get out of it and we were sinking. We had to be pulled out with a log.

Camping sucks.

I feel the complete opposite way.  With camp, you don't decide when to eat, you have to do everything in special areas, and you have to be in bed by curfew.

With camping, you can eat whatever you want whenever you want, you can stay up all night, and you can even get stoned as fuck and go shoot some raccoons with a pellet gun when you come back at night to find them stealing your candy.  That's a legitimate experience.

It's ridiculous to me how cat people are the one who always start this argument.  They must have some bizarre self-esteem issues where they tie their sense of self-worth to their choice of pet.

I like cats! But you're right! I like dogs far more than cats but I'd like to have both a dog and cat.

I don't have anything against cats (though I'd never own one myself), I just find it funny that cat people are always the ones who start the "Cats are better than dogs - you wanna make something of it?!" argument.

I find it more curious when they're male. How can a man like a cat more than a dog?
