I love when he says he's not even going to bother with the core gameplay (the entire fucking reason people gave a shit over SMG2). Fuck that was distinguished mentally-challenged.

I've seen that feature where that person reviews games 3 or 4 times now and everytime I thought it sucked. Whenever videogame types go for edgy or hip reviews it invariably sucks.

Speaking of reviewers I think suck, Tom Chick, put up his top 10 for the year so far. Not surprisingly I think a lot of it is shit or his usual contrarian gimmick but this little blurb for his #1 struck me as particularly humorous.

The smartest and most moving videogame I've played in the last ten years. And I only put the ten year cap there because I don't remember many videogames beyond ten years. But if you ask me in 2030, I suspect I'll remember [insert game]

Who plays a platformer for the fucking story? Minimalism is the key--get that distinguished mentally-challenged shit out of the way so I can play the game. Why doesn't he discuss things that mater, such as level-design, gameplay, or challenge?

And the Simpsons was great until at least season seven or eight.
