Check my GAF threads, man. They date back to 04. If you think I've been acting out these past 5 years for the entertainment of video gamers, then you're the one who's the joke. You guys have been so wrapped up in your little world here that it probably seems too surreal to see someone with *shock* totally different tastes in games!

Anyway, Part 2 (DS), will be up soon but with so many good games coming out for the system, it'll be hard to put it all into one post.

You'll be gone from here as soon as you're unbanned at gaf.  We've seen it plenty of times already.  In the meantime, I hope your asshole doesn't get too stretched out from all of the raping you're gonna get.

Maybe I should buy a Wii after all with a new decade upon us. But which games to buy for a true blue shooter fan?

Not my cup of Earl Grey tea. Thanks for the recommendation, though!

Aside from the Capcom fighter, did I miss any big names for the Wii for 2010? I'm not asking you specifically, Biff, since your dumbass can't even figure out beyond tomorrow much less through 2010.

The Grinder (see first post), Red Steel 2, a new 007 game, a few other shooters that will take a crack at the Wii userbase, I'm sure.

since you asked, here's my list of wii games for 2010:

horse life adventures: it's a game where you have your horse and take care of it, like nintendogs. you can race in the horse too. genghis cohen worked on it

furry legends: 2.5d platformer similar to loco roco, but the main character is a furry ball, basically

dance sensation!: game about dancing, not much else to say but i like dancing. i think nintendo should make a wii dance now. wii music is about playing, so the complement for dancing is the next logical step imo

my ballet studio: also about dancing, but focus on ballet. graphics aren't as good as the other one, girls aren't as detailed but i believe the gameplay will make up for it

Start off the 10s with late 90s technology.

Okay! I did get to play Red Steel 1, it was such a great game. I really loved the feeling of swinging the sword around. It also made me feel like I was the star of an action packed yakuza movie. I lived in Japan for a while so it seemed like I was waging a war on my home turf of Tokyo!!!

Seems more like a matter of desperate pickings from a slim crop. Heck, there are Wiiners clamoring for a new Mario Party.

A lot more shit released and a lot more crap soon to be released, for sure. There's a reason why it's the top selling system with the top selling software this generation, and that's because of soccer moms and the bratty little kids they keep shooting out of their vag.

The Wii doesn't look horrible on mine. 46" Samsung Series 6 or 7. I always forget.
I know on others it blows poop. (I got the component cables.)

Poor Wii. But do you honestly believe though Nintendosbooger that the Wii is popular because of games like NMH or Endless Ocean or even Mario Galaxy? It's Wii Sports and Wii Fit that sold that thing to the masses. The amount of quality titles on Wii pales in comparison to 360, PS3 or PC. Nintendo games are good, but how much better would it be if they dropped the hardware and became 3rd party devs like Sega?

Sega became a shit developer after losing the incentive of supporting a console, bad idea.

QuietID,

First of all, you need to dispel all personal illusions of the possibility that Nintendo will go third party. Sony, with the billions they've lost (4.5b), is more likely to depart the console race than Nintendo. Nintendo made so much money in the last two years alone to nearly eclipse their earnings from the DECADE prior to 08, while Sony is on the verge of losing all profits made from both the PS2 AND the PSX eras.

So cast the third party drivel from your thoughts, okay? It'll never happen now.

Second, Nintendo's hardcore titles complement its casual games, and have equally contributed to the success of the Wii. Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, NSMBWii, SSBB, MKWii, Endless Ocean, and upcoming releases such as this one help to fuel the Wii's success and contribute to its quality lineup. Let us not forget that it is a hardcore Nintendo title that was the hottest game this Xmas and helped to push the Wii to break the PS2's single month sales record last month.

If you don't like the Wii, its games, or think that there are better offerings elsewhere, that's fine. You're in the minority, however, like the rest of the Hollywood gamers on this site. I personally think the Wii caters to all my desires as a gamer, and it only takes a brief glance at the OP to understand why.

Poor Wii, you say? LOL, no...poor HD fanboys.

No, you got that backwards.  "HD fanboys" aren't the poor ones.  They own 'em all and buy and sell Wiis off for the occasional game that's actually worth a damn.  :teehee

This is a great post that raises some key points.  And look at how booger replied to it.  It's sad.

I thought it was a shitty generations for all consoles.  Not a single mind blowing game that couldnt be found on the pc.

Hardcore pc gamers were the real winners of this generation.  Still the wii is great for your parents.

I'm not sure Project Needlemouse is even coming out for the wii?

Zelda Wii is my most anticipated orgasm though.

To be fair, no platforms have been announced.  But every multiplatform sonic to date has sold the most on wii so I don't see how it makes any sense to pass that up.
