I agree with most of the list.

As for Soul Plane, Roeper probably forgot all about it.  That or he realized the movie didn't take itself too seriously compared to a movie that is called "I Know Who Killed Me."

As for Snakes on a Plane, it was the first sign to me that shit being hyped by the masses on the internet is more likely to be bad than good (this was also proven with Juno and crap music like Owl City and Panic at the Disco).

Speaking of that, I worked with Arie Verveen on set on a movie 2 years ago. Dude was pretty awesome.

Disliked or hated all except Freddy Got Fingered.

What are you doing to that horse?! Look at me daddy! I'm a farmer, daddy, I'm a farmer!

Also, The Wicker Man would've been fantastic had they taken this approach initially:

If Freddy Got Fingered had been directed by David Lynch, it probably would have been considered a masterpiece. But instead he's too busy jacking around with Sony Handicams to make an actual movie.

Lady in the Water was pretty bad, but not list-worthy. I think The Happening should have been on the list, though.

what the fuck? Happening was hilarious and Lady in the Water would be in my top 10 worst films this decade!

But yeah overall a good shit list

the difference between lady in the water and the happening is that in Lady in the Water's case M. Night tried to make a good movie and failed where as with The Happening he tried to make a bad movie and was very successful.

So did The Parent Trap remake, though I can't confirm whether or not she was a non-naked, one-legged amnesiac stripper. She was only 13 at the time, but considering her current state, I cannot speculate on her past.

I loved Lady in the Water. Giamatti.  :heart :elephant

what, prey tell, are the qualities of Lady in the Water?  Awfully nice cinematography and at least one or two minorly fun supporting roles (that Freddy Rodriguez will be a star someday I tells ya).

I haven't seen The Happening, but I really can't imagine it being significantly worse, or even more of a self-indulgent wank (even if you remove the critic parts there's still lots of embarrassing shit in that film) then Lady in the Water was.

How was it racist? A character is racist; that doesn't mean the movie as a whole is racist.
What is this bullshit.  Eastwood's character was never racist, he wasn't very open-minded and he was bitter that his generation/culture was dieing out but he didn't believe other races were inferior.  They highlight this in the end where he confesses his only three sins in life were that he regrets not spending more time with his children, not declaring a boat he sold on his taxes, and kissing a coworker.  After he was a mentor and everything to the asian kid, he still didn't feel any regret over using racial slurs or having to kill a dozen chinese guys in Korea.  Because there was no ill will when he did that.

That asian kid wasn't a very good actor, specifically the scene were he got locked in the basement, but that hardly made the whole movie suddenly bad.  fucking twerd.

How was Gran Torino a racist movie smh

you wouldn't understand because you're white.

anyway it was racist because it was gratuitous with its slurs and didn't bother to really explain why they were given. it was just funny for the audience to hear the word "gook" and "zipperhead" all the time. teeheehee

it didn't know whether it was serious or funny, and it ended up not being either. it's in some weird eastwood vacuum, where he thinks awkward little asian boys really behave like they did in the movie. and the "twist" was no twist at all.

am nintendho thinks it was good, further lending credence to my argument.

He said the majority of the racial slurs to somebody's face.  At first, he said it just because he didn't like them but after he got invited to the Hmong's house and was well-liked by the neighborhood, he still used them but just as a joke.  It firmly, completely fucking explained all of that you gayhole.

I know some of you distinguished effete fellows around here like this for some reason or another but Freddy Got Fingered is absolutely fucking beyond distinguished mentally-challenged.  Tom Green can suck my balls.  People that like this shit probably also think Dane Cook is funny.

And WTF is up with Funny Games being on that list?  That shit is brilliant.  It's like the Kubrick film he didn't make.

if you can't laugh at a man jacking a horse off screaming I'M A LITTLE FARMER BOY you are dead inside. or the scene where he's watching the horses fuck and the camera does a close up of him eating a cheese sandwich, omg

jesus christ, how soulless are you

LOL at getting butthurt over Gran Torino.  If you're offended, the movie's point went way over your head.  Stick to simple inoffensive shit like Twilight.
