Sounds like Monster Hunter Gundam.

Amazon leaked the title and release date for a new PSP Gundam game yesterday. Geo E Shop came through with specifics today.

According to a listing at the online retailer, Gundam Assault Survive is a new Gundam series from the developers of the Gundam Battle series of titles which has thus far seen four entries on PSP. Players assemble a squad of three Mobile Suits and work through a real time map.

Gundam units number over 300, spanning from the Seed series to OO. In addition to 100 characters from the series, you'll be able to create your very own original pilot.

As detailed in the original Amazon listing, Gundam Assault Survive will see release on March 18.

all I want is Gundam vs Gundam PS3/360, or a more sim-ish Gundam game like Side Story / the Wii game for PS3/360.

Gundam vs Gundam NEXT PLUS is pretty sweet, but I'd kill for it to be on the PS3.

I'm guessing we'll also see a Unicorn game sometime soon.

I'd play it if it were on consoles and had free online.

PSP monster hunter is not really my thing.  Especially since I can't use ad-hoc party.

I'm just guessing that it's Monster Hunter Gundam, it could merely be a new Gundam Battle game with AC mechs. Or something completely different. We'll probably find out in this week's Famitsu.

Looks like another game to pick up on vacation!

Same for me.  Those Gundam Vs. Gundam games are meant to use two joysticks, too.  I don't mind the PSP ports but really wish they'd go back to consoles and put one of them online.

At least with Monster Hunter, 3 is on Wii and looks like it will be free to play in the U.S.

And trust me I don't want another Armored Core game either.  Demon Souls was made by the AC4 staff almost entirely.  So if they are making AC5 it means they're not spending their days making Demon Souls 2 and that's a huge waste of talent.

Yeah, everyone wants ACE but I see that as something you want but you're never going to get.  Especially after they called the 3rd game THE FINAL.  Maybe they'll just do a new series?  Dunno.

Yeah, I know ACE had the "Za Finaru" subtitle. It's not happening.

Honestly, I just don't want another Armored Core title. Anything else is fine with me.

I do. Just finished up SRW Z Special Disc a couple months ago. I've got to go back and play through a bunch of the PSX era ones now.

It's got targeting specific armor areas and titties-- so it's better!

I'm still stuck on chapter 7 after a couple of weeks now.  I finally grinded enough to clear the map, but then it goes into a one-on-one battle against the map boss, and I get destroyed.   :'(

What's the point of only doing one season of OO?  It's been enough time that any gundam game with OO should just have the entire thing.

Probably, but Sony is heavily involved with Unicorn, so we'll see.

If the 360 didn't get 0081, I don't see it getting any other non-Musou Gundam games.

The 360 is dead in Japan, and Bandai doesn't appear to give a shit about Gundam in North America and Europe.

The 360 is the king of the HD consoles all over the world. But really, it's out of the race in Japan. MS made some brilliant moves that severely hindered Sony, but they appear to have given up on Japan.

Rumors are floating around on the ethereal web that the robot action game announcement is coming from Bandai Namco... and there was that trademark license last Spring from Bandai Namco concerning something called A.C.E. ...

I really need to convince myself it's just going to be another Armored Core title so I'm totally devastated when it's not a new Another Century's Episode game revealed next week.

I would be interested in a PS3 SRW title now.   :D

The 360 is dead in Japan, and Bandai doesn't appear to give a shit about Gundam in North America and Europe.

It's not dead yet, but certainly on its last legs. There's loads of talk this week about people selling off their 360s now they have PS3s. I guess the ratio of PS3:360 sales of multi-platform games is just going to get worse and worse. There certainly won't be too many Japanese exclusives from now on.

SAMURAI SPIRITS SEN SHALL SAVE THE 360.

...

Do want translation/better scans.  After the direction AC went with AC4 Answer with GIANT ROBOT MONSTERS and the look of these scans and talk about a new style of AC I think this could be cool stuff.  Sounds online-ish?

I was assuming they'd take their online experience with Demon Souls and Chromehounds and put it into AC5...

I skipped For Answer too.  I have AC4 and there was a lot I like about it but the general style and presentation put me off.  I really hated the store and building mech menus, and that was my favorite part of past AC games.
