has mistwalker done any other game besides blue dragon,the SRPG Revenant Wing Clone,the DS blue dragon action rpg,lost odyssey and away?

i played away and it had an interessing premise but it was bad,you spend 80% of the time inside dungeons and the dungeons themself have ultra boring design

That's pretty much the way to experience Nintendo consoles/games.  I bought a cube a couple years ago and had a lot of fun playing through some good games, and I spent a fraction of what I would have had I bought everything the day it came out.  Also, I had the bonus of buying everything used so I wasn't encouraging Nintendo's craptacularness.

Mistwalker actually never develop their games. They just hire other developers to make games under their supervision. LO was made by the shitty Feelplus. And bargain developer Artoon made Blue Dragon.

Well, Graces was already better than all the jrpgs on X360/PS3 so far.  Xeno-team makes awesome games (omgggg soma bringer) & Mistwalker makes good games.

When you are comparing Xenogame & Mistwalker game to Ar Tonelico, End of Eternity, and Last Rebellion....it looks kinda bad for the HD systems ;_;

With MH3, Fire Emblem: RD, ToG, DQX, these two games, and the rumored Pokemon Wii game, how can anyone dispute that the Wii is THE home console machine for jRPGs this gen? The DS has everything else and more accounted for so safe to say Nintendo has the genre and Japanese games in general in a chokehold.

The 360 is dead in this regard. Its best jRPG efforts were all instigated by money hats, and even that failed to secure it a legitimate position in the Japan gaming market. While the PS3 has been unable to maintain its predecessor's legacy through the sheer incompetence of Sony.

In all honesty, I feel Sony is in danger of losing its grip on the industry, since it's clear the market can be satisfied by two home console manufacturers. Nintendo has the casual and semi-hardcore market at a lock, while Microsoft seems to have everything else.  Nintendo simply needs to release comparable hardware to pacify certain third party Japanese developers and bolster relations with them, then I see no room for Sony in this game.

It's interesting seeing how the PS2 rpg that started in 2000 is still going strong 10 years later and will continue to do so for another 3-4.

At some point jrpgs will evolve from the last-gen rpg to something new and exciting.  Demon Souls was the first step.  Will probably take Japan another 10 years to really fall in line with progress.  Especially since the game industry there is so seeped in nostalgia.
