I would have been more surprised if Samurai Warriors 3 stood exclusive to the Wii. Although I was expecting the HD version to be Xtreme Legends.

Capcom released Sengoku Basara 3 (a musou game) a few weeks ago in Japan on Wii and PS3. The PS3 version is basically just a Wii port and cost $10 more.

Results were PS3 version selling 250k first week and Wii version selling 50k. Basically saying you can stick a Wii game on PS3 and sell it at a higher price and sell far more copies. Expect to see a lot of Wii -> PS3 ports in the coming year or two.

I'm starting to actually get excited for Gran Turismo 5 even though I don't even think I made it 20% into GT4 and Kaz is a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow full of BS and bad management that has delayed GT5 forever. The feature list is getting really good.

What's wrong with me ;_;

In other news, the Persona 4 team is making a new game for X360/PS3.

yeah, I hate that I'm thinking about getting GT5, especially after putting so little time into both Forza 3 and GT5p. I always get interested in these games until I play them. But GT5 has go karts and the top gear test track!

This was actually announced a couple days ago but it completely slipped past me. Digital Reality is co-developing it with Grasshopper. From looking at Wikipedia, it looks like they are primarily an RTS developer, sooooo I think I'll go into this game with extremely low expectations.

Saints 2 is superior, but it doesn't mean the first one is trash. Multiplayer is a morlock-fest, but the singleplayer is still good. They actually do a few things that I was sorry to see go, like shops closing at night, allowing you to rob their safe. I think they removed stick-ups, too. There was also a comedic bit of emergent gameplay if you take out loans, and the loansharks keep showing up in HUMMER-style vehicles. Plus, hey, silent protagonist, which I always appreciate.
