I'll buy cuphead because it looks amazing, but what I played at E3 (2 years ago?) was not inspiring at all.

If you played back in 2015, they've changed a lot now. It's got levels and such, not just boss fights. I read somewhere they had a nearly completed game but decided to start over, which is why it was delayed. So you probably can't expect anything being what it was at E3 2015.

Hopefully this will be the Half-Life style of stop-and-do-over, and not the Malice style of it.

Ancel did show off some screenshots a few months ago.

The big gameplay reveal was October 2015.  It's been in development for over 3 years at this point.

So is there a controller/pad that I can use for PC that won't shit itself after a year? Official 360 ones ;ose their connection eventually and the afterglow one I obtained a bit ago pulls down a bit randomly when at rest now.

This just happens to wired pads when used with the pc. I've had conversations irl with other people who've had the same issues.

I've had the same usb 360 pad for like six years now. The only sign of wear is the rubber on the sticks, which is starting to physically break down like an old rubberband

Bought Original Sin on the Steam Sale. Looking nice so far, think I'm gonna like it.

Quick question regarding controls: Does the game work well with the 360 controller? Seems more relaxing to play it that way, but I'm unsure if it will be ineffetice/cumbersome in the more complex fights?How much inventory control do you have to do?

NOPE. Closest I've gotten to playing them is the iOS port of Lunar 1.

Superfans say the Sega CD ones are better but I don't collect for that system so I don't really care.

I'm tempted to get the Modern Warfare Remastered standalone game but $40 is eh. The temptation though...I redownloaded Titanfall 2 and it's scratching that multiplayer FPS itch for now.

Ok great! I did a bit of research before jumping in as I knew I wanted to own the Lunar games but didn't know what platform to buy them on.

I've got a CDX so I can definitely play Sega CD but PS1 is my focus. Glad to hear it's not compromised.

I found mine too a few weeks ago, with dat original O.G stealth modchip for imports. I need to hook it up. I still have bushido blade somewhere. I remember hyping this game to my young cousin AGES ago, me and his father used to play it back in the days before he was born.

Nothing in particular, just messed around a bit with Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Mostly I just wanted to see if I could get it up and running [booted up first time, old memory cards still had all their save files]. But I'm thinking about buying some weird, random PS1 games that I missed or skipped over back in the day, though.

I've still got most of the big RPGs from that era, and I'm not really looking for stuff that's rare in particular. But it doesn't surprise me that prices have soared recently, same thing happened/is happening with the N64.
