Yeah, except this isn't an MMO.

Neither is Destiny. But they try to incorporate that MMO grind anyway. Yet none of it carries over to the next game.

Fuck all that shit. I'd rather grind WoW instead, that's more worthy of my time since it actually is in a game that continues to be played for a long fucking time.

Don't see any reason why you would put that time in a game like Anthem or Destiny where there is no interesting endgame content.

Might as well play WoW or Diablo 3 instead.

There are plenty of games I don't like because they are copy paste of the same shit over and over again. And they feel uninteresting and bland.

So yeah 2018 wasn't a great year for games imo. 2017 was a LOT better.

Yeah, I'm not too big on Ubisoft games anymore, they all feel so samey. Watch Dogs 2 I enjoyed, but Assassins Creed Origins is just boring and technically bad after playing Red Dead Redemption 2.

EA games.. meh. I'm not too big on the big companies chasing the top dollars, trying to converge all sorts of mechanics of HOT GAMES into something that fits their vision of it being a 'live' game.

I'm def jaded against Ubisoft games, EA games, WB games to a lesser amount ( Shadow of War is fucking boring af ).

Downloaded PUBG mobile on PC through the official Tencent app/emulator and then noticed a file in C: drive that my antivirus and adware/malware programs flagged, along with the Tencent Gaming Buddy app as a whole.

Proceed to wipe it but that one file was stubborn. I'm troubleshooting while smacked, got overzealous Google translating some Russian tech forum and wound up deleting key registry files. Games won't launch, NVIDIA control panel is fucked, .dll files are missing.

I think I fixed it all as of now, but I'm contemplating a full reinstallation of Windows.

Another game I hadn't heard of going on Epic Games Store for a year. I really don't have a dog in this fight since I already have an account. Yeah I played Fortnite Save the World before it was cool, and FREE, and BR and KILLED MY FUCKING UNREAL TOURNAMENT I HAET YOU STEVE POLG....*cough* ahem anyways... But Valve have been squandering away for what feels like almost a decade now of half starts on almost everything I really don't care if someone is trying to put screws to them a bit. I mean I don't want my customer data going to china either no matter how much Tim Sweeney swears it won't, but the conclusion to Half Life was delivered as a goddamn word.doc by an ex writer....so I cant muster much outrage over all of this. I guess what I'm saying is, Epic money hat a AKI-like AEW wrestling game and I'll astroturf your client 4 life.

If TFU 3 came out today it'd probably be a God of War 2018 clone and fucking suck.

TFU 2 already sucked as much as a game could.
It was a 2 hours game, and even then i couldn't finish it.

TFU 1 was alright though.

I feel like EA dosen't understand that releasing a game at once creates a swell of interests.

Doing it this way has select people talking about it and then leads to others releasing it's now out and then not caring anyore. So instead of them going out to buy it because Twitch person is playing, they just don't. Meanwhile Twitch person goes back to Fortnite because all his early access friends have also stopped playing it, because the hype of the release for them is over.

To be fair, Scalebound was dead in the water when Kamiya started to troll Microsoft's marketing attempts and promotional artwork on Twitter.
It always seemed like a really cool experimental type of game not the AAA+ Metacritic 10/10 production Microsoft wanted it to be.
