I don’t think it’s the models (which frankly don’t look improved)... it’s like the lighting is like missing something. Even the materials in the background scenery look more real in the 2012 version.

The Legacy Collection came out here. Yes it only has a MGS1 PSN code, but it also has the Digital Comic versions of Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2. Completely dubbed.

Yeah, i personally just don't like it, but i also think it's so overdone at this point.
Maybe it's because God of War and Hellblade came out recently.
Nevertheless, there are so many more places in history it'd have been cool to see, without resorting to the same 2 everybody always does.

Especially considering that since Odyssey, they've been going more mythological and less historical, so it's gonna feel even closer to whatever we got with those other games.

I really liked most ofl the MGS games, even 2 and 4. I really thought the twists in 2 were cool when it came out. And for the most part the story in that was intelligible.

I also really liked 4 at the time, but I deadass have no idea what was happening in that game. I can remember a ton of cool set pieces, but never why anyone was doing anything. MGS5 is similar, so many different, interconnected organizations with dumb names.

The Play! app (PS2 emu) for Android latest updated, I can finally go out into the OW and do battles without it crashing in Phantasy Star Generation:1 (w/ English patch)!

Granted, not perfect with stuttering music, but it's improved alot since last update.

You just have to program the emulator for it. There may be a technical limit based on what exactly the game keeps in memory, but usually any consoles have to standardize many things in such a way that all games will abide by certain rules to where the emulator can do it. Save states basically just reload that point in RAM and the program thinks it was given to it normally rather than suddenly loaded in.

It's probably just not been prioritized by reicast's developers and was by Play!'s.

Hoping Dave will pop up from time to time. Sounds like he was just burnt out doing the show. He's already been gone for a little while and the video Joe put up a little while ago on the Mega SG was the first post-Dave episode.

Overall a good lineup, I probably would have put in Dracula X in for Adventure. Game Boy games look like shit blown up on big HDTVs.
