Yesterday, publisher SouthPeak revealed it would delay the upcoming Two Worlds sequel until January 2011 to perform some "heavyweight quality assurance" on the title before it hit stores. This morning however, TopWare Interactive--a subsidiary of the game's European distributor Zuxxez--says the reasoning for the delay is "factually incorrect."
Speaking with GameSpot, TopWare's managing director, James Seaman, said the primary reason for the Two Worlds 2 delay was to avoid an "exceptionally crowded" holiday release calendar of RPGs. According to Seaman, Reality Pump--the game's developer--finished all "production, bug testing and localization" work earlier this month. TopWare, which oversaw Reality Pump, plans to release the game in a few select territories on October 21. A January 2011 release in North America is still planned.

I don't like it.  The new avatars are creepy and everything just looks really sterile.  Hopefully it is faster and that makes up for it.

A lot of the behind the scenes stuff seems good.  Another thing is adding resolutions you got with the VGA output for HDMI (like 1360x768).  Just not a fan of the aesthetic change.

What's the big deal with the Voice Chat codec? I have been impressed with the chat so far; is it less "telephone" like in its frequency breadth?

Regardless, I agree with you. Reach > TF2, but Minecraft is a really interesting engine. To think you can build a working computer inside a video game so simplistic is wonderful. I don't care how socially inept that person may be, his creation is astounding. Maybe I'm just easily impressed.

I have over 200 hours logged into TF2 on my Steam account, and if you factor in the time I played since the beta on my old, VAC-banned Steam account, I have just under 400 hours in that game. TF2 was fun while it lasted, but compared to modern FPS, the balance issues are atrocious. What used to work as a fairly balanced rock-paper-scissors mechanism is now completely fucking twisted and each patch since the Heavy Update buries the game further.

Check my post history! Normally I'm a PC gaming elitist, but I happily relinquish my mouse and keyboard (at least until Black Ops comes out) to play Reach.

Pretty much, yeah.  There is kind of a 'game' mode where you defend yourself from zombies at night, but it is really flimsy and just fluff.

I like stuff like the Star Trek ship for instance as a neat little gimmick or piece of art but like with a lot of indie stuff people are starting to get annoying with it.

I've really started to take a disliking to Valve in the past few months.  First were the Steamworks exclusive games which isn't horrible, but I don't like games being exclusive to one DD provider.  Next, they decided to trademark 'DotA' and take claim to a fan project that tons of people worked on (I know that Icefrog works with Valve now, but they should make their own IP instead of riding off something that already exists and would create a legal nightmare), and now the whole TF2 microtransaction debacle.
