But like, guys, Gust games are sooo deep and engaging! They are one of the best JRPGs of the generation! I love playing them solely for the amazing nonsensical repetitive chanting music, and the complex active turn based system that no other JRPG developer has yet dared to explore!

It's not like I play them for the moe lolis and cute animu girl art and the innuendos, or because I enjoy fantasizing about "putting it in" (I mean crystals you pervert) said lolis and girls, no not at all!

Haven't played any of those game, sorry.

Decided to watch the anime instead

Haven't watched any harem anime in ages, not even the scifi ones.

Yeah, the chick wouldn't be clothed in the games you play.

The only nudity in the Breath of Fire series is on account of Ryu.  :(

Yeah, reading through them is sometimes better than a FAQ or Walkthrough. But it's a waste of time to actually participate in them and expect anything useful to come out of it.

what is the off chance R* will do something special for GTA3's tenth anniversary? I'd really like it if they do something.
I'd not be surprised if they chose to release the PC version of the game for free, like they have with a couple of the top-down ones.

I want an updated gta3 for consoles. Just a little graphic upgrade, saints row aiming, maybe new music.

Gta3 is the game that made r* and a slim packing like that would be disappointing. You can't even play the gta3 trilogy on a ps3 if youve got one and they were most successful on ps2.

Shitcock. They've got a whole base of fans that could be catered to.

Electronic Arts' EA Sports label confirmed that it will no longer include paper instruction manuals with its games in order to go green and save money, according to media reports.

The label told Kotaku that beginning with Fight Night Champion, released on March 1, it would cease printing manuals in order to go green and save money.

Spokesperson Rob Semsey with EA Sports said future games from the label will instead have an in-game manual for users to peruse.

EA Sports' decision to drop paper instruction manuals comes nearly a year after French game publisher Ubisoft said it would begin including instruction manuals on-disc instead of on-paper for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games.

That company also argued that on-disc manuals are more convenient for gamers and would let Ubisoft include more in-depth instructions with its games.

EA Sports didn't outline just how many trees it would save by dropping the manuals, but Ubisoft said last year that one ton of paper for Ubisoft game manuals consumes two tons of wood from 13 trees, and requires energy and generates environmental waste from paper production.

I like how "going green" equals spending zero money. Assholes.

I know manuals are garbage anyway nowadays but at least stick a controller config sheet in there.

anyone know of a good way to let you play redbook audio off the hard drive?  i wanna play some old fps but it's just not the same without music.  i imagine it would be a huge pain in the ass and i'd have to individually configure each game, but if it's possible i wanna know!

I agree.  But if you had to recommend one game to someone and only one which would you pick?  One is definitely longer though however it seems like there are more "filler" battles in OB.  On the other side OB is definitely the more epic game.  The filler battles in OB got to me and i stopped playing it hence why i would put SMT:DS over OB:LuCT.

Both games are pretty repetitive though.  That's just how the genre is.  Especially the genre of AAA low-budget games.

That's like deciding between Vagrant Story and SMT3.  Both have great writing but compleeeetely different styles.  And gameplay is very good in both.

Depends on the person.

If the person is ok with anime and boobs and likes biblical references in their gaming, then DS.  If the person likes wrpgs and real books and stuff then I'd recommend TO.

I actually wouldnt recommend SMT games to a religious person, the way they interpret the verses are generally not right in the case of DS or can be offensive in the case of other SMT games.  SMT games in general have God being an evil entity that wants to remove free will.  That said if a person can laugh at the way the references are used, it can be funny and enjoyable though that is rare.  :/  I guess thats why SMT games arent such a huge hit in the states.
