Traded in some games at Gamestop and picked up Modern Warfare 3 for PC. Unfortunately, compared to the 360 version, there aren't very many people online (20,000 compared to like, I'm not sure). Oh well.

DQX was the biggest disappointment in gaming since SEGA went 3rd party.

I'm assuming #1 is the DS and #2 is a TI graphing calculator.

I was open to the idea, still am.  But the game just looks bad, even for a Wii game.  FFXI looks better and it's 10 years old.

I actually like it when a sequel changes things up, like with Prey 2, but the new direction here isn't exactly 'new'.

No to all.XBLA games are locked to account/console,online is needed.

Man, I tried playing the free copy of Twisted Metal Black (PS2) that came with Twisted Metal (PS3) and holy crap were these games tough back in the day.  Modern gamers would cry if they had to play games like this.  I died in the first stage >_<

Yes you can, you'll need to format the stick once you put it in the Xbox, then you can shove your profile and shit onto it. Very handy

I didnt know the 3DS was doing well with indie stuff. The choice may not be as mad as I thought. The only point of skepticism I have left is if a Nintendo audience would be interested in the content. Just always seemed like a PC thing to me.

If you downloaded to the local 360's HDD, just go to System>Memory>Storage>HDD then choose the items you want, and move them.

I think there's even a single-button shortcut which will allow you to select a number of items, then copy them all at once, if you've got a lot of stuff.

Hard to say.  VVVVVV and Mutant Mudds both did really well, though.  Apparently quite a step up from DSiWare and Wiiware.

I can't remember the last time I saw an arcade in the Seattle area that wasn't Gameworks. Movie theaters and bowling alleys have one or two machines in the lobby area, but that's it.

Arcades, however, are alive and well up north in British Columbia. They import tons of cabinets from Japan, too.

XBLA titles are tied by DRM to both (a) the GamerTag which purchased them and (b) the console on which they were originally downloaded.

If BOTH match, they can be played without an internet connection; there is no need to log-in to Xbox Live.

If you take that XBLA title to a machine other than the one on which it was originally downloaded, it will require that you log-in to Xbox Live in order to play.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I recall your Xbox is blocked from Live login due to some shenanigans, so I think you may experience problems.

What was the last surfing game (retail or indie)?  Must be at least 10 years.  Someone should try to make a new one, even if it's just a low budget indie game.
