It really doesnt get any different than that. They introduce new characters, but theres no point in using them. They introduce a "super" attack, but its only useful on bosses and it one hit kills them.

The story gets much better in the last couple chapters.

There's only 5 chapters. You get 2 of them for free.

The extra content is the Hypercubes. They're just mazes.

After you beat the game, you unlock one final super boss. I imagine it'll be just as easy as the game itself.

It's pretty weak after Chaos Rings.

argh thats a shame. i got no problem with squeenix putting games on phones, but i hate that most of em are c-tier efforts. put some quality control on that shit guys.

lol thats essentially true, but i think the overall quality is "good for a phone game" but pretty bland or shallow as far as rpgs go. i just wanna see more quality.

Achievements, in some ways, have already diminished the enjoyment of playing games, turning it into a collection fest for OCD types like me. I have trouble tearing myself away from the game while there are unlocked Achievements within grasp. I am not really very excited about this Challenges aspect, which sounds like an Achievement I can miss if I'm unable to play in the interim where it's available.

I enjoyed Fable 2 until its endgame, though I couldn't understand its combat-breaking Time spell's inclusion, and a really annoying set of online Achievements.

I still don't understand why Magus thinks games are good because they contain x awesome thing and ignores gameplay. Like if you ask him why he likes a game, he's all, it has a church of body builders. Usually when people say stuff like it's a quirk to show light hearted the title is, and that it's really a joke. So when someone says "i can dress up as a nude mime!" in Saints Row as a reason to buy one of those games, they're not actually saying that's the only reason to get it, but more than that, that's an actual gameplay feature. But Magus, on the other hand, is earnest in relation to story-related stuff.

i like element that i find unique so if you are a turn based rpg like the other gazillion of other turn based rpg that are out in the field of course i'm going to look at other thing... it is the same rule that make games like chibi robo and little king story amazing even if you could call little king story "a pikmin clone"

yeah i wouldn't tell anybody to pick the game for his battle's,while i'm sure lot of people would dig the lack of structure and plot,every boss fight involve shooting at him with all you have until he's dead,in fact beating the super optional boss is more of a matter of trying until the number's finaly decide to favors you since you don't even have the option to heal

the best part is that you can skip battle animation by pressing R2 a feature every rpg should have,battle go blazing fast in metal saga,you blink your eye and *BAM* done,no waiting around for camera swinging,monster appearing or stuff like that

but really? you want to try it? play the first one on SNES,it's made from the same element and you also get kickass SNES music

How shit, that looks TERRIBLE. Look at the SHADING ON THE EXHAUST. Ahahahaha. The outline work looks like it was drawn in 20 minutes. The hair is basic two color shading, and the shorts are flat.

The concept art for this is completely awful and I see better work in my weekly One Piece manga chapters because they [the translators] include fanart before the chapter.

Fucking terrible.
