Honestly, if Deep Silver's OK with putting something like this out, hopefully they'll not rush QA and such on Saints Row 4.

This game's been pretty much a mess from the start, apparently, so they probably just got to the point where they wanted it out the door and over with. Volition at least has a track record of not releasing glitchy, unfinished games.

Huh, ran into the first person on RDR online I can honestly say was cheating. We were having shootouts in free roam around Armadillo, and this dude (who was pretty good) disappeared for a bit after we started getting the upper hand. He comes back a couple minutes later, and he's invincible. I emptied a clip into him from about ten (game) feet away, saw every shot hit, and he doesn't go down. A few of us voted to kick, but we couldn't get enough to push it through. My friends and I just left. I did a search and evidently there are a couple of invincibility glitches Rockstar never patched out. According to people on their forums who've run into it, Rockstar quit giving a shit about enforcing any of the online stuff because in game years it's ancient. Apparently it's fairly common. I was unaware, hadn't played online in a long time.  I just talked a couple of IRL friends into buying it when the GOTY edition was on sale for $20, too :lol  :-\

Interesting. I've only got 2 Achievements remaining in RDR, and neither of them would be affected by invincible players. Then again, I bet that shit wouldn't fly for more than 2 shakes of a lamb's tail outside of Free Roam.

:lol Your dry wit, I love it.

Also, let's not forget that SR2 was centered around co-op gameplay, supported re-playing missions in re-play, or could be started and played through start-to-finish in co-op, and included all Activities in co-op. There were Achievements for each of these, and yet ALL OF IT was broken, and even after the final-final fix, the one for completing ALL Activities in Co-Op was still broken.

It was sort of my fault for not following common advice and not starting a new save file for when we tried for the cheev, but still some bullshit on the developers part. Still, awesome frickin game

I'm almost finished the game.  It's basically a crappy easy Ace Attorney Investigations knock-off with no real connection to the Layton games.

The best thing about it is watching clueless Americans confuse Lucy's Yorkshire accent as a bad Engrish translation.

given the chance i would still play it,i can't resist janky murder mystery game :S

Kenneth McCulloch, a developer at Precursor Games—the developers who want to create a sequel to Eternal Darkness—is now facing child pornography charges according to Bullet News Niagara and the Niagara Regional Police Service.

McCulloch is being charged with "one count each of possession of child pornography, making child pornography available and accessing child pornography," to be specific.

Last month, Precursor Games held a Kickstarter for Shadows of the Eternals, but the campaign was suspended. In a post on the Precursor Games forums, Paul Caporicci, CEO of Precursor Games—a studio that formed from the ashes of Silicon Knights—says that they learned of the charges today and that due to their serious nature, McCulloch is "no longer affiliated in any way with Precursor Games."

According to the Bullet News report, McCulloch is currently in custody, pending bail. We've contacted Precursor Games about the matter and will update this post as soon as we hear back.

If they didn't already have enough nails in the coffin here's a fuck-ton more! rip Eternal Darkness 2.

The only thing that stops me from shunning him when faced with these charges is how vague they are, especially since something like underage hentai is considered cp. I don't know what was actually on his computer or what his involvement was in "making child pornography available".

:dizzy

Hentai fans damage controlling the allegations.... wow, just wow.

Also, how are these people planning to bankroll game development with the chump change from the 7 remaining Eternal Darkness/Silicon Knights diehards? Can't they just call it a day after their kickstarter bombed? Or did Dyack's cock in their mouth brainwash them into fulfilling his vision?

I should mention that SR2 co-op is completely fixed. I played it recently and did everything co-op.

Did the person for whom the Achievement unlocked use an existing character and save data, or did they start a new game?

AFAIK, the patch which fixed everything else still left one small accounting error in the data. Scenester and I played through all the co-op stuff, and unlocked it all. When we went for the "All Activities in Co-Op" Achievement, the only thing different he did was to use his existing data. I started a new game. I got the Achievement, and Scenester didn't.

I liked Chibi Robo on the Cube, but I never played the DS one.

it plays nothing like the cube one, your main objective is to raise a park by planting flower, you buy the flowers, dig some spot, plant them, water them and then make them bloom with a boombox (which you have to rhytmical rotate on the touch screen) sometimes some smog monster try to stop you and you have to defeat them with the blaster (you can see them on the trailer above on 10:46) but that's pretty much the gist of it

it would be a pretty boring game if not for the fact that as you make the park bigger you get to unlock new toys (like a toy bicycle and a dune buggy) and stuff to put around the park and fuck with (like a swing) you also get to ask the help of a new set of toy including a duo of soda drinking snowboard penguins

there is another one on the DS which should plays more like the original which even features a grown up jenny as the MC but it never came out of japan :'(

Can you pass on something you were never offered?

The French existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre was sitting at a café table working. A waiter approached him

‘Can I get you something to drink, Monsieur Sartre?’ he asked.
‘Yes, I’d like a cup of coffee with sugar, but no cream’, the philosopher replied.

A few minutes later, however, the water returned and said,

‘I’m sorry, Monsieur Sartre, we are all out of cream — how about with no milk?’
