Other than that, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Nanatsu kaze no shima monogatari, Burning Ranger, Mr Bones, Waku Waku 7, Elan Doree, Princess Crown, 10 player Saturn frigging Bomberman....
I'm not sure if I could take going back and attempting to play 3D Saturn games like Burning Rangers at this point.

Elan Doree sucked. Waku Waku 7 is a Neo-Geo port, and not one of the better ones...grainy backgrounds and slowdown issues plague it. The Neo-Geo version kills it, and you can also get it on the PS2 Sunsoft Collection. Princess Crown is also on PSP. Saturn Bomberman is awesome, but you can Bomberman on pretty much everything.
Do you guys remember Astra Superstars? That was a pretty impressive 2D fighter, the third in the "trilogy" of Sunsoft fighting games that started with Galaxy Fight and WW7.
i'm sure theres more, but for me it's a great machine with a good library. Laughable library is pretty unfair... :runsoffcrying
No, I agree with you on that. Calling it "laughable" is ridiculous.
Well, I love me some wacky jappy games too.
Didn't the US get the shaft on Japanese imports though?
Well, it was easy to play Saturn games with a variety of converters that fit into the system's cartridge slot, but if you mean getting the shaft on a lot of great arcade game conversions, hell yes. I couldn't believe that Capcom games like X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, which was a phenomenal conversion of the original, never made it over.
Yeah, I should clarify by saying that I love the JAPANESE Saturn. Saturn was the first system I extensively imported games for. It was very easy to play Japanese games on it, you just bought a converter cartridge for it.
You don't have to clarify...it's a given with the Saturn.

I have a fuckton of Saturn games too
Me too, but a huge chunk of them are arcade ports, and that's why for me there are so few games left I'd want to turn on my Saturn for. And yes DCharlie and Ichi, I would much rather play the arcade versions emulated, with superior visuals and sounds, than ports lacking color, filled with load times, missing animation, grainy sound, etc.
Er, fuuu
I meant Saturn. Still half-asleep. Keio Flying Squadron isn't on XBox either, that's a Saturn platformer that only came out in Japan & Europe.
Got the Euro version of it. It's so-so.
At one point, I liked the Saturn more than the PSOne, but then the PSOne got more and more titles, Saturn support faltered, and even the 2D fighting game conversions (sans the Vs. games) got much better on the Playstation. I didn't have a PSOne when Street Fighter Zero 3 got announced; I had sold my entire collection to pay off a debt, but I ended up getting one back for that game when (at the time) it was announced that they weren't even bringing it to the Saturn.
