Commando is probably the most pure realization of the 80's action genre. It does everything stereotypical of the genre to a degree that would be humorous if it weren't so FUCKING AWESOME.

Arnold petting a fucking wild deer in the opening montage always makes me laugh.

I really don't know what else to use other than Photoshop. I use VirtualDub to cut out the piece of the AVI I want -- maybe you can find another GIF maker if you're concerned about staying legal.
