I'm not certain about what to do regarding Unicorn.  I have the first episode on blu-ray, but it is going to be crazy expensive in the end.

Mr. Gundam, I don't think Star Driver was that bad in that respect.  Sure it was more teen-bopy than the first ep of Raxephon or Eureka Seven, but all Bones robo shows start of with a teen kid, a romance interest, jokes, and then GIANT ROBOT -> BATTLE at the end of the ep.  I don't think calling the show out on having those elements at the start really means much for the show in the long run.  That being said, I do think they are going for more of a Ouran High School x Rahxephon thing with Star Driver.  So I expect it to be fairly silly and light until the later parts.  Kind of like how in Utena they fight every ep but no one ever dies IIRC.  My only disappointment about Star Driver ep1 was that it wasn't as stylish as Ouran or Utena.

I'm ok with teenage kid and romantic interests but c'mon, grow up a bit. I don't like silly high school crap. It was just too much stupid. Oh well, maybe it's just not for me.

Star Driver ep2 - still interesting. story got a little perverted this ep with implied sex and whatnot, shit was so fabulous
 
Bakuman - another ep2. This is a pretty funny show too, and bros being bros makes me laugh. Cant wait for more.


Little sister cant be this cute - episode 2. I dont know if Mazui are the best translators around but I just read "come outside, bitch. I will carve the true meaning of fear into you"  and Im loving it. Very humorous show I cant get enough of.

To Aru Majutsu No Index II - a pretty good start for a show about magic and loli nuns, especially since the last season was pretty weak near the end. Definitely recommend it for fans of the last season or fans of railgun, whose star makes a brief appearance.


The World Only God Knows - a demon from hell pairs up with a kid who is the master of dating sims to win the hearts of actual women. She didn't know he was only good at dating sims so its a pretty funny mistake. He then applies his dating sim skills to real life to some success. Funny and interesting, another one to watch I think.

This one is great.  Funny as hell and very unconventional character-types.  I love the manga/anime series that DON'T make everyone all kawaiiiiiiiiii-uguuuuuuu, too, and this is definitely one of those!  The first episode was very "anti-moe" to me and I hope it stays this way, but the credits alone seem to say otherwise.

It's too bad no one will turn Japafive into an anime.

The best part of it is the main girl's actress who is so good (she was Maka in Soul Eater).  Although apparently a large portion of the anime fanbase refuse to watch any show with her because they find her voice grating.

Otherwise, show seemed alright.  I think Shinbo is a good director, but despite his ADD style I find his shows boring after a few eps if the writing isn't up to par (Zetsubou Sensei, Moon Phase).  Will give it another ep or two and see if I bail.

so they finaly get their awesome manga to become ultra-popular but oh noez! it can't be turned into an anime because it's about little kids doing crimes (more like pranks) and that wouldn't fly with soccer moms!

i got somewhat bored at the end,it's different and interessing yet there is no real plot and each episode more or less ends "and everybody lived happily ever after!" by the last episode it's lost is novelty and every episode start to feel the same
