We're out of performance capture budget but we've still got Serkis for 4 days, someone set up a DV camera and he'll do the ending that way

I'm preparing for a truly WTF moment at the end. In the meantime, the interaction between Trip and Monkey has been really entertaining, and well-handled.

Trip is charming for someone who has enslaved another sentient and bound his existence, against his will, to her own.

The opening sequence, when she's ignoring Monkey -- or outright fleeing from the insane, muscled brute pursuing her off from a crashing plane, was pretty great.

I found the ending fine.  It sure as hell wasn't boring which is a win.

That's good enough for me.

And I didn't mind Assassin's Creed 2's ending, and didn't find it out of place. I just don't think they have a plan to wrap it up, or the cleverness to make it fit before it finishes. I'm pretty sure it's about as pre-planned as LOST.
