What type of things did the new VP try to tell you to do?
Nothing big, just general school protocol type stuff. I'd just shrug him off as I browsed forums and tell him I knew what to do and was leaving in a few months. He didn't seem like a bad guy or anything, but I just didn't care. That wasn't my base school anymore and I barely ever saw the guy. Also his predecessor was the nicest lady EVER. She retired though. The OTHER VP at my base school was the complete bitch and I hated her so fucking much. Only person at any of those schools I just didn't like or really get along with. I learned to shrug her off too. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING?!?!" "To get lunch." "DIDN'T YOU PAY FOR SCHOOL LUNCH?!" "Yeah, I don't want it today. Going to the conbini." :::shrug, walk out the door:::
That kind of stuff. What the hell are they going to do when you're only there for a few more months? Nothing! That had nothing to do with the kids, either.
The problem is that I still want the students to enjoy their school experience, you know? I don't want them to get turned off of English just because the Japanese teacher is fucking incompetent. Seriously, a person like that has no right teaching a language that he can't frickin' speak. It's no wonder he's almost 50 and working as a fucking temp.
You're kind of up shit's creek here. There's nothing you can do about that teacher being completely incompetent and unable to do his job, as you already well know.

Maybe that teacher will end up having you do everything when you're there and the kids will see that with you English can be fun, and it's just their teacher that sucks. But I doubt it. Poor kids.
