Went out for a dinner show last night with my extended family. Konishiki, a retired sumo wrestler who is now a talent/celebrity did a musical concert featuring Hawaiian songs and Japanese songs about Hawaii. The food was pretty good: lobster and maguro/bluefin poki salad, loco-moco style filet of beef, fresh fruit dessert, and a full bottle of a Chilean cab made all the jokes funnier. Though I am pretty sure I almost drooled on my shirt from the open mouthed state I entered whenever the petite, Japanese hula dancers came on stage.
When we arrived home, my neighbor showed up with a very nice vintage wine, and an Australian dessert wine, so we were up until 02:00 getting shouty and laughing.
