Me: "So no choice huh? We gotta go. OK, what's available?"

Apartment staff: "We have two units available right now for $1128 and $1168 a month."

Me: "How big are those?" (Note- we downsized last year from a 1.5 bed/1.5 bath to a 1 bed/1 bath in the same complex. Our rent in the bigger place was $1075)

Apartment: "Oh, the same size as the place you're in now. Yeah. So I guess you'll want to look around or let us know if you want to move soon, since your lease is up right at the beginning of March! Ta!"

Thought I would surprise the misses and take her out on a kind of date night of sorts. It was going well till we actually got in the car and started heading to Santa Cruz. First we got stopped by an accident on the 17 where someone went over the side of the road. Which then made us miss our reservation at the place we were going to Capitola to eat. Then she started to get sick in the car cause of the accident we saw earlier in the evening. So I rush in to Costco 5 minutes before 7 and try and get them to fill her prescription. Which wouldn't be much of an issue since it's just a box of patches, but I couldn't find anyone in the RX department. So I had to wait 20 minutes till they found someone to do, but the register locks them out at exactly 7pm.

So we go to the Shadowbrook now several hours late and the misses sick as a dog. We waited for a while then decided to leave since we didn't want to wait any longer. She somehow found her appetite and became hungry. I suggested a few places in the area and some near Santa Cruz and we both decided we'd go back to Burger. We get there and the whole menu has changed, none of the stuff we liked was there to order. So we both found something to order and waited around. Her food was up in just a few minutes, she was done with her food before I even got mine. This wasn't cause she was hungry, but due to how shitty the food was. I never thought food could be this unappetizing, but it was. Her burger was crap and tasteless, the fries were like something you'd get in the frozen food section. This was not the same place I'd gone several times before and enjoyed good burgers. Then my food came and if my previous depiction wasn't enough it was shit too!

We did however manage to find her a collectors edition of Hakuoki for 3ds in great condition and unopened at a Gamestop over there. As well I got to see Kiefer Sutherland's mug shot, If only I would have heard the things he was trying to warn us about before our food came. I am now feeling sicker than a dog with a horrible ring of fire asshole from the food I ate there.

Sadly Santa Cruz and the area needs an injection of quality eating establishments. I'm suffering like a mofo over here cause of the sliders or the coleslaw. Good place for beer though! What is up with the food in that area? Is it cause of the college? Cause it all sucks there really aren't any good places to eat at all.

I hope I can make it up to the misses with something nice. Someone told me about this thing called bandsintown and so I was using it and noticed a concert she might be interested in. Seems I broke the ticketmaster site or something cause the tickets aren't supposed to be available yet. So I just spend $1200 bucks on Katy Perry tickets... Happy V-day! Concert isn't till September though, but she's touring with freaking Tegan and Sera which makes it a must see show for me. Getting turned on thinking about going to this concert and the vip thing whatever that ends up being.

All of the apartments in my area have straight jacked their prices way the hell up. Feels like all the extra income I got from my most recent promotion (now making a good 8k more a year than when I started three years ago) is going to be gone to cover the rent increases. :'( Dirty poor again, I guess. If its about me going a bit extravagant with the need to make it up to her, yeah I know its excessive. Honestly I'm trying to find engaging things that keeps her interest going. Since we've been making small progress with her being on meds and stuff. I'd like to think that she is becoming more open and engaging in our relationship. Baby steps though these last few weeks have been pretty bad.

As per Forza I don't use any assistance outside of the suggested breaking line and at that I don't use it often. Also I reset each race if I'm not in first and tend to tune my cars heavily based on the track I'm racing or the drivatars I'm facing. I also will go back to individual courses and progress my drivatars skills for that specific tracks passing and turns. Its funny cause I haven't even really played all that much.

A friend of mine is a DA in LA and said that the last time they had 3 spots open they got 660 applications, and 400 were perfectly qualified to do the job. This a job that pre-crash they would have to actively recruit for. #obamasamerica
