Mannnnnnnn, it's almost 5pm and that damn black post man still hasn't delivered the mail. Fuck it, I know he's a brother and all but this is ridiculous, I"m complaining.
I think that's an optimism that isn't reflected in reality. I know I'm a pessimist, but I feel like delving my hopes in this situation to "re-invent" myself is fantastical. When you're in this kind of situation, its hard to look at it as freedom. I spend most of my time thinking how the fuck I can at least get back in the black, at the very least.

Blackbore -- I need your opinion. I have a habit of saying "take it easy, brother" as a goodbye to all my friends and just generally work it into my vocab without thinking. I dropped my wallet downtown and a gentlemen handed it to me who happened to be black and I said graciously "thanks, brother." My wife was morbidly embarrassed, I didn't even think about it until she said so. Thoughts? Am I gonna get my ass beat for doing this someday?
