Man, netflix streaming really does suck. The worst is when you have stuff in your instant queue to watch and you come back a month later to watch it and it's been dropped from the system. I'm not being a hero. The first rule is to avoid issues if possible. But the city we are going to has large amounts of gang activity. Robberies and rape of people from the US is not uncommon at all. But that's where my wife's family lives. I'm going to have some sort of protection when we go.

Edit: and it was actually the Salvadoran consulate who suggested I bring firearms for protection if we're going to make the trip.
