Cut the grass at my place, and my parent's lawn. It's funny, I remember when we first moved there some 11-12 years ago, right as the neighborhood was being built. Everyone on our street had sod put down except us and one other family who planted grass manually. Our stuff looked so bad compared to the neighbors lol, I remember lots of stares and rumors of people wondering if my parents couldn't afford sod. It took awhile, but eventually the grass came in fully - you could still tell it was planted, but it didn't look bad compared to the neighbors anymore.
Fast forward to today. The neighbor who used to brag and smirk the most has the shittiest lawn on the street, while my parents' lawn looks amazing. The grass level is even regardless of how long it is, it's well kept to avoid grubs/bugs, they have some nice mulch on the sides of the house, etc; it's just a great lawn. Whereas this particular neighbor has multiple dead spots due to their dog peeing everywhere; they're literally too fat and lazy to take their dog out on a walk
(I like spring/summer lawn work, mainly because I love finishing and looking at the final product. Whereas I really hate fall lawn work - ie raking leaves. Winter work is alright, I like shoveling snow but I prefer cutting grass)
