A couple nights ago I went out and got hammered. I planned on getting hammered so I did. I drank a lot in a very short time span and spent good money doing it. Then right when I just started to feel really drunk, this guy I know came up to me and started talking shit about how I dress. It put me in a bad mood for the rest of the night and I went home drunk and pissed. What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for that night since he ruined it. Maybe I'll ask him for some money.

so a support issue for a client of ours was punted down the line over the last few days and it landed in my lap this morning. it was a pretty major issue for a really important client.

the ticket sat untouched and unresolved for over 3 months before someone finally decided to get it to someone. i fixed it in 3 hours. feeling pretty good right now.

Try drinking something lighter like a vodka/gin tonic. Also avoid fried food and/or stuffing yourself. You shoudn't feel as drained when you get home

Just got called for an interview tomorrow.  I'm anxious for it.  I'm not going to say excited because even though the hours and pay will be better, it's pretty much a lateral move for me.  Wish me luck anyway!  I trimmed my beard for this.

So I had the gre today.  They didn't let me take it because my drivers license had expired.  Even though the picture was obviously me and I had other ID as well.  My student car didn't work because my name was the name I go by not my real name - a difference of one letter.  My hospital card didn't work because theirs no picture.  They keep my 160$ registration fee.  I've been stressing for this test for 2 months.  I took the last week and a half off to prepare.  I am so fucking sick of this shit.  Also I felt like walking home after the test and took off most of the skin from my heels.

This is probably good advice.  Like last night I had a fried chicken salad + garlic knots + beer.  I should probably eater lighter stuff if I'm drinking.

Well, I almost felt bad about accepting that job offer today until I called my boss and (1) his really important news to tell me was that I needed to bring the store up in magazine subscriptions because they weren't doing so well this week and (2) he was getting really tired of me requesting off EVERY Saturday [I asked off for this Saturday for my son's birthday party and next Saturday because I won't have a babysitter and those are the only two times that I've requested off since June].

Fuck this company and fuck him.  Do I need to apologize for being a single dad that occasionally has limits to his availability? 

I interviewed for a promotion with them to make me a manager and still haven't heard anything back yet, but they say it looks good.  The company that offered me the job today is going to give me $.50 more on the hour (more than the management job would offer), better hours, and less responsibilities.

The college I'm going through has a two year program.  However, with the increase in people going into nursing, getting accepted into these programs is extremely difficult (even for a person like me with four years of EMS and two years of hospital experience under their belt).  Each year, they have 125 spots available for the program and they have over 3x that number apply.  When I spoke to my adviser about it last year, she told me it was worth the wait because I would walk away with an associate's degree in Nursing and an associate's degree in Science (which I could turn into a bachelors with two more semesters at a bigger college.

I'm at a community college and the cost of what I'll be getting is well worth the time I'll put into it.  Most of the public colleges in the state are seeing this problem right now.

Ok I pretty much witnessed sexual harassment today yo. I was at the bank to deposit some shit, and while standing in line the bank greeter guy was talking to a guy ahead of me in line. It was raining pretty hard outside, and eventually one of the female tellers walked inside the building. She had an umbrella but a lot of her light brown skirt was wet.

The greeter dude looked at her and said "oh hi Elsa, did you have an accident" while looking at her dress. Her face became a mixture of revulsion, confusion, and anger. One old dude in line laughed, but everyone else was like
