I have kind of acquired an 19yo chick (just turned 19, actually). We've known each other for awhile, she's a family friend etc, our families don't know. I decided to start gardening in out little patch of dirt at our apartment to stop it from looking like an eyesore. I was digging up the top layer of garbage and cigarette butts from our neighbor above us, when they threw another live butt on me which singed my hair. I live in a no smoking building for a reason and I'd appreciate it if others would respect that. I got pissed off and called the office. I had told the office that if they weren't going to deal with the residents smoking problems I would. I then proceeded to march up stairs to confront them. None the less this asshole was looking for a fight and the moment I knocked on the door this asshole threw a punch right into my shovel. The asshole started crying like a bitch and retreated to his apartment. The apartment complex maintenance  thought I had assaulted him and called the cops on me. And for the next few hours I had to deal with police questioning me. I was cleared of wrongdoing. The office manager didn't apologize to me for what happened even though it should have been their responsibility to take care of the issue. I'm pissed I just wanted the smoking to stop that shit is not fun to deal with. I later found out he was facing criminal charges for gun possession and drug use. Now I feel like I've got a ticking time bomb over my head constantly.

All I wanted to do was make a nice little patio garden with a water feature so I can enjoy the summer...
