It definitely feels like one. You have to add your family to keep up with the Jones'. Or else you'll hear about it and more. Even if people barely use it, they still have one. Hence the social obligation part.

I have only friended two of my brothers and a cousin in Texas whom I've only met once. Nobody else is going to get friended, outside of maybe another cousin if he or she is cool. Parents, uncles, aunts...never. So far they haven't tried, but if they do I'll just politely decline; if they want to ask why at a social event I'll just tell them I don't friend family members.

Mupepe: send them to me. Just the fat ones.

I haven't really been dating people for a while now except for one girl casually. I dunno if I'm starting to grow into settling down but it's sorta weird that i'm not dating like crazy anymore. Old job: It's a bit tough making LinkedIn contacts even though I have over 500 people so I'm a known quantity making a lot of 2nd degree invites. Networking is usually easier for me around convention time.

New job: Doesn't matter who I invite they almost always accept and respond to my messages. Networking is now stupid easy and I can't wait to see how simple it will be to setup business meetings at conventions.

Late night cleaning stuff and I come across none of the shit I was hoping to find. If I could prove it I'd swear I have been robbed slowly over the past year. I just hope I haven't been throwing stuff away. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened in this house. A few years back I accidently threw away Roxanne's ipod that had a bunch of personal files on it. She still is upset about that even after I replaced the ipod. I understand it wasn't about the music player, but rather the files on it.

I explained the dollars and cents of it to them, what it really meant to be one (it's not a commonly known designation), etc.

Today I was doing some personal / self-employment bookkeeping and I noticed a huge cash transfer into my checking account from my parent. I hadn't checked my personal email today, so I did, and there was a message from them saying, "I know I'm not the easiest person to live with. I think this will cover the cost of your class."

But srs tho, I'd get at least a 42", even for a small room it won't seem that big. You can get an LG or a Vizio for under $400 if you get a 60hz monitor; they're both decent enough brands. Samsung is my personal favorite, but they might run you a little more.

A nine month work project that has consumed my life since January is finally ready to launch Thursday. The last four of those months have been presentations, meetings, approvals, audits, emails, emails, emails, requests, emails, paperwork, emails, and more emails.

Whether it's successful or a total bomb I'm glad just to be able to be back into real production and work with an opportunity to generate actual money.

Today that same parent tried to get me to do something that would have been difficult schedule-wise for me if I wasn't going to be missing a bunch of work for my EA class, but it's impossible now that I am, and then threw a hissy fit when I basically had to say, "Sorry, Karakand gots to get paid."

TBH, I think a reason I'm taking life so hard lately is that I've lost not just the exit strategy from my hellish job, but from my hellish family as well.

(Being thrown away like a piece of trash didn't help either, but just sayin'.)
