It got less weird when I ran into a guy I know and his gf there. Which was even weirder because when I was at the show I was thinking how I should've hit him up because he'd probably have been interested in going to the show and when I ran into him he said he was thinking of me and how he should've hit me up because I'd probably be into the show.

Concert friends

Anyhow, Passion Pit was alright, but they played the second shortest live set I've ever seen a main band play at one hour including the 1 song encore. Shortest I've seen was Sleigh Bells that played a whopping 35 mins set for the entire headlining show they did. To be fair to Passion Pit though, I'm pretty sure that guy's voice doesn't last more than an hour considering how high pitch he sings at.

I went to a concert solo earlier this year. Between one of the sets a really cute, really drunk girl came up and started talking to me. I actually ended up hanging out with her and her friends the rest of the night and got her number afterwards. She was impressed that I came to a concert by myself and couldn't believe I didn't have any friends into the same bands.

I talked to her like once afterwards and never saw her again but it still ended up being a fun night so hey!

Here's a #2spooky Halloween story that is also true and might end up with a restraining order. My wife noticed a picture posted on Sunday on instagram by someone my wife and I kind of know through my work that was posted from the balcony of a really good friend of ours. He tagged that he was at my friend's place and said "Sunday dinner with a friend". My wife was like "why was X having dinner with that guy?" I agreed this was weird because this dude is not cool at all. And I thought it was SUPER WEIRD that he was posting a picture from her balcony while she was out of town on Sunday. So now we're figuring out what the fuck is going on.

Wait what? This doesn't make any sense to me. I drink a lot of craft beer and almost everything that is 9 or higher is an IPA or a double IPA. I'm as burned out on IPAs as the next guy but they're almost always the most cost effective way to get drunk at any non shithole.

I went to a bar on Halloween, had two beers by myself and went home. I kind of messed up on taking my meds on Friday and Saturday so I was in a super funk and I don't know why I thought going outside would be a good idea.

9% ABV IPA is way outside the average range for that style of beer, dude. It's a 5 and change to 7 and change ABV beer on the average. Are you sure you're not drinking Belgian pale ale?

imo whatever is on special is the most cost effective method getting crunk, provided you're not eating. Most people don't have a resting BAC higher than Coors Light like I do.

I'm pretty sure I'm not. I dunno, I almost never fuck around with anything under 6% if I'm trying to get drunk. 5 or lower is almost doesn't count as alcohol to me and I'm not even a big time drinker.
