First England now Argentina get steamrolled.

At least England scored a couple of times on them...

Shame we won't get to see how a Brazil-Germany match would've panned out

I wonder if Argentina's relatively easy path to this match was a factor in their dismal performance today.  I had thought that Argentina was going to edge by just a little because they had at least established three players as major scoring threats.  However, the other players just couldn't make Germany pay for sticking multiple defenders on Messi.  Argentina just started to panic because they've never had to come back from behind that late in the game.

I meant when they were still unable to equalize at ~60 mins.  You could tell they were starting to play tight and forcing a bit too much.

Germany played good.

Final could be Holland - Germany.

If the Dutch can beat Uruguay with 3 key players missing.

Everybody says Germany is so good, but they already lost once this tournament, they are definately beatable.

So what you say is that a football team can be beat? OH MY GOD.

Fact is, they are great. Because unlike Holland, they play beautiful, fluid, and tactically firm football. Contrast it to the dirty, ugly, boring, lucky style of the dutch.

It's a spectators sport, i'll root for a team playing like Germany than a team playing like Holland till the day i die. And hopefully, Holland loses with Uruguay so i don't even have to bother watching those fuckers play.

Not bitter that Portugal lost at all.

I was more upset at seeing Brazil lose, they way it did to shitty Holland than i was to see Portugal go out without a sound. I kinda hope Holland makes it to the finals and Germany embarrasses them, but i would prefer to be done with it as soon as possible.

I don't understand why you keep comparing the two of them. As far as i know we knocked your teeth out the last two times we saw each other.

And yes, lucky own goals, refs that doesn't send Bommel to the mtfkin street for some supernatural reason, and when you fuck up in the defense the adversaries haven't been murdering.

If you can tell me with a straight face that Holland has been playing great...you don't know shit.

In the WC you only played against one great team, Brazil...and they outplayed the fuck out of you, and a decent Denmark. Both teams have one thing in common, half of the goals you scored against them, are theirs.

Shit teams sometimes win stuff, that's football.

Holland is still a shit team. Or better, they play absolute shit football.

edit: It's sneijders, but it shouldn't have been, hence why i've heard commentated how ridiculous it is that Fifa didn't count it as an own goal. I'm sure dutch commentators said it was an amazing sneijder goal though!!!!

Look dipshit, it was a cross. Had sneidjer actually shoot at the goal, but no, it was a cross.

Great victory lol

How come that whenever someone criticizes a team that wins, its bitterness? Specially, when the team didn't win against the team you support? How distinguished mentally-challenged is that.

I hope that if Holland loses you'll be here talking bitter tears about others too.

I've met more sportmanlike Brazilians here yesterday that congratuled me on the great win.
aren't you a polish?

and imo, the dutch played as a more coordinated team but the brazilians had more individual skill.  they may have had worse tactics but they didn't rely so much on simply fouling the other players.

You have such a wrong concept about football. Don't let your hate blind you!

Fans want to win, presidents want to win, players want to win. Wins move fans into seeing football matches at home.

Nobody wants to pay 40 euros to see their team play really well but lose. If Mourinho wins, the fans will love them, like the Porto/Chelsea/Inter fans before. And if he wins, the the President will love him too.

"Mourinho football", :lol  cry some moar

There's a difference between playing tactically sound football, with great defense (Inter and Germany are not so unlike each other), and playing dirty and ugly football.

In the case of the netherlands, they played football soccer more conservatively than they treat immigrants.  I mean, I don't watch a sports game just to see somebody with legs like a clydesdale run really fast and dribble a ball well.  I watch it to see one group of motherfuckers humiliate another group of motherfuckers so bad that half the stadium is depressed.  that is the moment that I anticipate for 90 minutes of every game.  In this case, brazil humiliated themselves.

For once I partially agree with Wrika. Yeah, the Brazilians fouled a lot too, but the Dutch fouled nearly as much (courtesy of Van Bommel who should have been sent off) and dived a lot more. The worst are the Gaffot Dutchmen who, in their post-victory high, completely denied that Robben ever dived AT ALL IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING GAME. I said, no, he was a swan out there, but then came the "LOL AMERICAN FLAG By UR NAME U DONT KNOW FOOTBALL" posts.
