Still, there is some serious Edgar Wright-wizardry in there - the 'Getting a life' bit is fucking awesome. I have no idea how they will market this though. Who is the audience for it?

I did go to a screening and you don't have to have any knowledge of the books.  This acts as a wonderful adaptation in that you can go in absolutely blind.  Edgar Wright and Michael Bacall did a good job on the story paring it down to the needs of a film while retaining a the elements which made Scott Pilgrim so good as a book
