The 360 version will be the superior version because:
Custom soundtracks
1080p scaling option
rumble option
Based on version C
Don't care about rumble. I also doubt it will look any better than the game on PS3, but I'll leave that crap to the hardware whores and play the game instead. And have they SAID it would be based on version C? I don't mean fanboys, I mean Sega.
Custom soundtracks is cool though.
But it's also possible it will have online, since the tools are better and MS handles the servers and stuff.
That's got nothing to do with it. DO NOT EXPECT online. It will be a miracle if any version of VF5 gets that.
Hardware supported 1080p scaling will be very nice. PS3 version is locked at 720p - 360 version will support scaling from 480p to 1080p and all the funky monitor resolutions in between.
Most of us don't care about rumble but having the option is better than no option.
I don't know where the source for 360 being based on Version C came from, I think Kikizo was the first site to mention it and I know they don't have the greatest track record. But it does make sense - why would AM2 port Version B when Version C would be out?
I'm not expecting online at all, but who knows? Official reasons stated by pubs and devs aren't always the real reasons, VF5's lack of online may have a lot to do with Sony's late delivery of online specs and tools, lack of unified plan, downloading of costs to publishers, and the like...Again, I don't expect it at all but I think the possibility of online might be greater than zero.
Even without online, or even without Version C, 360 version is still superior just for custom soundtracks and scaling support built in.
