Himuro, are you crazy?  When they first unveiled Twilight Princess, it was supossed to come out THAT YEAR (2004).  It didn't come out until late late 2006.

This game is going to be fucking fine.

TP was supposed to come out THAT year? No way, really?

And sure, it'll be fine, if you like motion controls.

I wonder how they compare to TP wii. I only like motion controls when they compliment traditional controls, not BECOME the controls as seen in the new Zelda. Chances are, I'll hate it. But oh well, I'll just replay Majora's Mask.

No way TP was supposed to come out in 2004. I think it was originally for 2005, then delayed to 2006.

Going by the video linked above, looks like the controls are just an enhanced version of TP. It just gives you the ability to also control the direction of your slices.

It's going to control just fine.

I hope that they still let you use pointer controls for the bow

TP release was only delayed to match Wii's launch. The Cube version was probably finished months before the Wii launched with the ported Wii version.

and ignoring my distinguished mentally-challenged fellow Zelda defense, the only complaint I have is the colors look a bit off.  I like that it's colorful, but it doesn't look that balanced.  The worst analogy I could think of is that it looks too poison mushroom.  I don't even know what that means.  Purple hue? There's zero reason to think this will play as janky as it was presented.  The tech works.  The concern lies with whether or not is this gonna be fucking boring like TP.

So how does this game calibrate the sword exactly?  I was thinking they could get away with it if you controlled the camera with the pointer, but thats not the case. WSR was a big game for them and the sword fighting there required calibration.

Remember how WSR recalibrated instantly when you hit down on the d-pad? they can just do that every time you press Z to lock-on

Of course they're going to pimping the controls, it's the big new feature.  It's not coming out this year, and there are plenty of other opportunities to show it off until it does release.

I'm sorry dude, but this is the same shit that Nintendo fans were saying when TP came out and people were suspecting the same old shit. It's the same old shit. The Zelda formula is never changing. Some people might find that a good thing. I, however, find it the end of my interest in the series.

The most interesting part of Zelda games are their level/world design.  The only time I ever care about the trailer for a zelda game is if it's in some radically new graphical style.

All this trailer confirmed for me is that it's going to be a full-fledged game and not some port-up so I'm happy.

Obviously there's still going to be land and water.  Probably, you'll have multiple modes of transportation with flying being the most convenient but restricted in some areas.

They already said that they're trying to lower the amount of overworld traveling between dungeons so most probably, you can just fly between temples and cities.  It might just be the same thing as playing a certain tune to teleport around in OoT.
