Anyway, it's not like people can't hold some crazy/bigoted beliefs while still functioning perfectly well and contradicting those views with their personal behavior. I kinda expect that's the norm.

I still love Braveheart. It has nothing to do with actual history but I think its a really fun movie. The Road Warrior Stuff is still great. And so is the first Lethal Weapon. Other than that most of Gibson's work was meh for me.
