I got my new Zune HD and was riding the Metro. Some girl asked me about what I using. I was like,"Oh it's an mp3 player, not a cell phone." "What kind is it?" "It's a Zune, they're made by Microsoft." "I've never heard of that..." "Yeah, I can't afford an Ipod but it works (lie)".

When asked what kind of mp3 I have, I never spare the gory details because only tech nerds do that and I don't want the attention.

I considered getting an Ipod Touch but in terms of mp3 player capabilities and features, Zune edges it out nicely and is far cheaper for the hd space you can get.

when people ask i just say "better than an ipod and cheaper to boot"

three family members have bought zunes because of that line and then they played around with it.

Other things you can say:

Based off statistics, people with Zunes have happier, more fulfilling sex lives than the shallow, empty sex life of your average iPod/iPhone owner.

Follow that up by telling people the positives of sidehugging.

I agree. Debating mp3 players is dumb. Which is why I try to avoid the whole topic. It's just as silly as debating cell phones.

I've got a 120GB version. I think if you need a portable media device with that kinda space on it, there's nothing better for the price.

I hate the software though, for reasons I've gone over many times.
