I thought Kinect Sports looked pretty solid, earlier. Sonic looks atrocious and Kinectimals was boring as hell.

I'm thinking about doing the Target triple play thing and not opening them, just in case.

Dance Central and Your Shape seem like the best thing.

Kinect Sports, Kinect Adventures, & Kinectimals seemed okay if for some reason you bought this thing.

The rest were shit.

I'll never ever buy this thing but that was to be expected as it isn't aimed at me as a gamer.

Ultimately as expected this thing is built on a false premise in my mind. That "buttons" are somehow evil. A tv remote control or a mouse is a device with buttons and nearly everybody finds those to be indispensable tools.

I do think there is something inherently interesting about the camera tech MS has here. That Your shape fitness thing is the best demonstration of that. But I think the real solution is both the camera and some actual control thing you hold in your hand if you need it. Just like Wii-mote.

Sony is probably the closest one with the complete solution but they don't have any software to show it and their product comes off as a clone I'm guessing to a lot of people. Kinect has more buzz with the controller free marketing and Wii is the originator.

All the failures of this thing remind me of the Wii. Kinda works but not really and it doesn't deliver what was promised, which is totally fine because they already got people sold on the idea.

though, honestly, the one cool thing about it is the motorized camera tilting. That isn't enough to sell me on it, but one day, when I have more room and there is some software I want to try.

Day One and I'm in love!

Kinectimals: is great and light hearted fun, our cats were trying to interact with the furry pals on the screen it was so cute. Simple fun at its best, definitely meant for kids to keep them busy or the misses while you go out for a drink or two.

Dance Central: this is where the party is at, love this damn game. I can't dance for shit but its so much fun and it teaches you what you need to do. The misses was having too much fun with the game though and when her and Kinect weren't seeing eye to eye on how well she did a move or not she got pissed off and turned the thing off.

Adventures: Everything I wanted from the title its fun and more of a work out than Dance Central. Just enough difficulty and challenge to keep you coming back to become the best.

Tomorrow I'm gonna pick up Kinect Sports, YourShape Fitness, and Dance Masters.

Well, yeah. There is absolutely no reason to buy a Move until at least 2011. The only worthwhile software is a generic better-than-wii sports collection, and the people dying for that experience would have bought a Wii four years ago. Kinect is new and has a bunch of games that at least seem different because you're using your body instead of a controller.

Plus Kinect has a motorized swivel and Dance Masters.

I wouldn't use Kinect even if I got it for free. Never used the Wii much. Ain't using the Move much.
All motion control games just look fucking terrible. Kinect tops both the Wii and the Move when it comes to distinguished mentally-challenged, though.

Level 60 WoW is one of the most complex games I've ever played. The strategy for C'Thun, The Four Horsemen, Kel'Thuzad, or Gothik the Harvester make just about every console game look like imagine babyz.

But anyway, Dance Masters looks pretty awesome tbh.
