52,no point in 1080p for smaller TVs,the bigger TV the better,not that you will get much 1080p content from PS3,except movies

Also turn off post-processing stuff,sharpness to zero

QUESTION:

Assuming all other specs are the same (full HD, interfaces, internet TV, DLNA etc.) what is better: 60hz 52" HD TV or 100-200hz (TrueMotion, motionFlow etc.) 46" HD TV?

Borys my brother has the American version of the 500EX and the picture quality is excellent. Get the higher refresh rate; you probably won't use motionflow but it makes a difference in sports and for playing blu-rays (no judder when playing them at the movie theatre rate of 24fps)

Edit: Hmmm...if the choice is higher refresh or bigger panel size that's a tough one. You'll really want as big a screen as you can get

Jump from SD gaming to HD gaming is pretty incredible. Chapter 9 (on board the airship) looks unbelievably good, much better than HD Town from Chapter 8. The colours are so crisp and nice (red especially).

So PC gaming is SD gaming now

As for the boss,grind a little more.You need to have enough health to survive his attack,after that heal immediately,raise companions if necessary and fight.

FF8's story and characters are something I like about the game, but they aren't THE reason I like the game.

I like FF8 because of numbers and spreadsheets and ability points.
