That "comic".... Oh man... Describes GAF perfectly. Most girls feel bad telling guys like that the truth. I don't know if girls particularly like assholes (except for girls with other issues), but girls want passion and they want someone that is insanely in love with them. And if the guy happens to be a total asshole to other girls... Feels good man.

Speaking from personal experience, guys that have to remind and tell people they're a "nice guy" aren't usually worth a shit. They get their heart broken by a girl, then would use that woe-is-me attitude and sob story to make the next girl feel bad for them and in turn fall in love with them. But girls don't want to hear how special this ex girl is to them.

I'm a "nice guy" but I certainly don't bend over backwards for chicks, or guilt them into dating me. I used to agree completely with the GAF mindset, and yes I still shake my head when I see a chick chasing after a complete asshole, but I no longer care enough to a) put them on a pedestal or b) provide cheap "you deserve better blah blah blah" e-advice.

I just do my own thing. If a chick is interested, cool. But the days of me chasing after them is long gone.

I think most people can remember my emo days of "girls suck" and the probably 150 threads I made on here about it. But you grow out of it and learn that just like there are certain chicks that chase after assholes, there are guys that like to let girls treat them like shit (a bunch of them are on GAF!). Eventually you realize that it's a small percentage of mostly young people and in the end, who gives a shit? Find someone that you actually like. As in go out and search for them, not sit at home and whine about being single and make it someone you like.
