tbh I've fallen off the Monae fan bus. So much of her stuff just feels like uninspired attempts at making retro music. There's little interesting about the instrumentation, and it doesn't match her talent as a vocalist. I like the idea of her trying new things but this sounds so...basic. Some trap influence mixed with zzzzzzzzz
